Mannequin Syndrome is a first-person survival horror game for solo play or 1–4 players in online co-op.
You are sent into the Syntrax Facility, where something has already gone terribly wrong. The building is still running, but not the way it should. Some systems remain active, some areas still function, and throughout the facility mannequins stand motionless like empty shells.
Most of them are inactive.
One of them is not.
The active mannequin does not always stay the same. At any moment, the one hunting you can become still, while another somewhere else becomes active. That means every mannequin in the facility can become the threat.
Your objective is simple on paper: enter the facility, restore critical systems, complete the required objectives, reach the shutdown sequence, and escape.
Surviving long enough to do that is the real problem.
The deeper you go, the worse the situation becomes. Every completed objective moves you closer to escape, but it also makes the threat more dangerous. What begins as something slow and unsettling becomes faster, more aggressive, and far less predictable.
The challenge is not only staying alive, but continuing to progress. Exploration, objectives, and coordination become harder as the threat escalates. To survive, you will need to restore access, open new paths, interact with terminals, solve puzzles, and keep moving forward under pressure.
The mannequins are not there just for atmosphere. They are the main threat. As the round progresses, they become more relentless, more dangerous, and harder to read. Once the endgame begins, the facility stops feeling like a place you are exploring.
It starts feeling like something you need to escape before it fully turns against you.

Helloo so this game is really cool in concept I was playing it for stream but whoof it was some trouble The camera clipped a lot, we got stuck on almost everything especially doors as we tried to get away and somethings were just not polished we couldnt even finish the game because we were looking for a code that we had found on a surface so we were searching the surfaces of the whole map only to find it spawned on a wall across the map from the room we'd originally found it in which stumped us because if you find it on a surface at first you'd figure you'd find it on another It's fun i guess but it could definetly use work, however the dev was nice and helped us for the first bit, i'm sure as it gets updated it'll be smoother running and better! might try again at some point with this game but it was just a bit rocky for us xd

I played this game with a twitch streamer live on air more than once. And lemme tell you this game does a terrific job at surprising you. The mannequins will follow you. They will lower your sanity, they do sometimes surprise you as does running into another player if you're not wandering together. The puzzles have only gotten more challenging as time has gone on with the development of this game. The environment is creepy and atmospheric. There's a range of things you can grab. There are specific tasks you have to do in order to survive. I do recommend you play it with friends, because while you can play it solo, it is a little bit easier when you do it together. This way you have more than one person to do tasks. I loved the sound and music. There are some easter eggs in here to find/secrets. And the developer is a totally cool person who listens to commentary about you know fixes that might need to be made and such. You'll really like this game if you've played stuff like dead by daylight or survival/horror type of games. I think the game has a lot to say for itself. Sound: I'd rate sound at like 8 out of ten because you do have to listen for the mannequins walking around. Music: The music intro kicks butt. Its just very good at making the game come alive more. Gameplay: The gameplay is great, once in a while you can get stuck if your trying to escape, so lets say if i'm running there's a small chance i'll get stuck against a shelf but usually i'm all good. and there is a stamina bar as well as a sanity meter so you'll want to keep an eye on both. I'd rate gameplay between 2 or so people at about a 10 out of 10 because it is so. much fun playing together. And you can get so much more done when you join forces to escape. Overall last comments: I really do recommend gamers who like puzzles and who like horror type games to come check this out. You'll have a blast and you'll be glad you played it.
i would rather drag my nutsack across a lit Weber Genesis than having the absolute displeasure of playing this afront to humanity for another second. 0/10 might be the worst game i've ever played in my 13 years of gaming, genuinely impressively bad. Great work
This game is the worst I’ve ever played in my entire life. I would rather sit in a dark room and stare at a wall for the rest of my life than spend another millisecond playing it. There’s so much wrong with this game that I wouldn’t even know where to start. I wouldn’t recommend it to the worst person on Earth. PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!!!!
The game is cool and atmospheric, but extremely boring. First of all, it’s very unclear. I thought I had spawned directly into a level, but it turned out to be the lobby. Second, when I finally figured out how to start the game and spawned in, I experienced the full gameplay and can only say one thing: running simulator. The game looks nice, but that’s just the wrapping. Sadly, there’s no actually interesting gameplay here — no interesting puzzles, no interesting items, and no interesting mobs.
I was the one friend that fell asleep while playing this with goldtooth. To be fair I was pretty tired, but honestly trying to search for a code for that one door was just awful and it got to the point where I almost just brute forced and did every possible combination and that was the only stimulation that I had the entire game. I did get spooked a few times though it was all right but maybe it's just a skill issue on our end because we're all three really stupid
we finally beat it it took us 4 tries but we finished it very good long game and it has a lot of intense gameplay
Would definitely recommend for people who are looking for a simple game time with a different idea. Yes, it does not have grinding mechanics where people would have to play relentlessly to achieve anything, but that's not the purpose of the game. It's literally there to keep you on your edge while trying to complete a task, survive. Simple as that.
