Но программа имеет главные функции вроде прилипания видеодорожек, объединение в группы. (что необходимо предварительно включить и не сразу понятно где - под окном просмотра)

Те дорожки которые снизу находится в слоях выше, а те, что сверху - под ними..

Большинство "фишек", вроде 3D по сути должно быть реализовано давно как стандарт, а не как новый функционал.

Но его не отремонтировали в старой версии, а выпустили для этого новую версию.
Так же и тут.
В новых версиях не появляется действительно нужный функционал.
