Magical Greenhouse

Very charming, relaxing. Played both on a PC and steam deck. Swapped to PC, steam deck controls didn't work for me when the patch came out. Was playing on the touch screen originally. Love the game overall!

I've just completed it 100% and it was a very cosy, calm experience. ❤️ I would absolutely recommend it, especially for the price, and if you like whimsical games or potion-making or both, it's a no-brainer. Oh but one small thing: your items max out at 99 each and it doesn't tell you that, so make sure you sell stuff and make potions so you don't waste excess materials when you harvest more. (I don't see why there should be such a limit - if you're reading this, devs, please remove it! ❤️)

Super cozy and easy to get into. I like the energy mechanic because it forces the player to prioritize which ingredients will get their time for that day. I like that seasons are repeatable, I missed some quests the first spring and was worried I might have to start over, but alas the seasons come back around. the entire plant guide is up so if you don't want to waste energy on trial and error you don't have to. I love the graphics, the sub plots with all the villagers, and the characters themselves. highly recommend if you like cozy shop-keeping games.

You can tell from a mile away that this is a game made with an incredible amount of love. The little hidden secrets, the adorable drawings, and above all, the distinctive color palette of MGTT Studio’s games: vibrant pastels that take you back to a simpler, happier time, when video games were made with love and playing them didn’t require microtransactions, just enjoying the moment.

Very relaxing. A small amount of broken English but other than that a good quality game. There are a few quests like the hot coffin quest that have very non-obvious solutions

Magical Greenhouse is a very simple, straightforward cozy game. I recommend this game if you enjoy games where you can experiment without punishment. You can advance as quickly or as slowly as you like, and you can try to mix all the potions or you can follow the recipe guide on Steam to bypass the experimentation. I personally chose to follow the guide, as the fictional ingredients weren't intuitive to me, but maybe they would be to someone else. I enjoyed that I could open the shop as often as I liked, and the fact that the villager relationship are a bit dull, simply because that's less to think about while playing. I think this game captures the cozy genre well because it is nice to look at, there aren't punishments, and it is entirely self-paced. Some things I would add in if it were my game would be to make the maximum of any potion with the ingredients on hand, a tab in the grimoire for potions you are out of, and an option to purchase a service that waters plants and collects ingredients.

In Magical Greenhouse, you play as a witch who runs a potion shop, and you buy, water, and harvest plants and use the ingredients to make potions to complete villager requests or sell in the shop. I found the gameplay loop a lot of fun, and you can buy decor to increase your daily energy, boost the price of items sold in the shop, and more. You can also play at your own pace and complete requests whenever you have the ingredients for the potion. I also love the art style and the characters. There are also 60 Steam achievements, so there is plenty to do in the game. That said, it is expensive to buy new potion recipes, especially when you are starting out, but it can be challenging to figure out the recipe yourself through experimenting. Also, there were a couple of villager requests that were vague, and I ended up giving them the wrong potions, but for the most part, the villager requests are straightforward and easy to figure out. All in all, Magical Greenhouse is a fun game that I highly recommend playing.

It is a little bit grindy but once you have 3-5 recipes you can quite easily progress and have the in game funds to unlock more. Fulfil requests to get bonus pay outs. Very cute NPCS definitely would rec playing this is you like Wylde Flowers, Little Witch in Woods, Witch of Fern Island etc
