Perfektní hra
škoda, že není One Piece TCG hra, ale tohle je úplně perfektní náhrada pro mě a začíná se mi to neskutečně líbit. Je tam pořád co dělat, je moc zábava si stavět speciální decky a je to opravdu super.
Overall, I would recommend this game. It is a good introduction to Magic and there are plenty of options to get cards, mainly by playing or winning without spending money. For a casual introduction to MTG, it works well. The rest of the review is about the game MTG. The strength of Magic is that there are many different ways of playing, but the weakness is that some of those ways are completely incompatible with each other to the extent that you are basically playing a different game. One of the things that makes chess a great game is that if you play someone close to your skill level, you can have a challenging and balanced game. Unfortunately, modern magic often falls short of this. 10- 20 years ago, you had to put a lot of cards together to get a powerful combo. At this point, there are cards that are combos unto themselves. Alsesha who laughs at Fate is a 2/2 with haste and first strike. Back in the day that would be powerful enough, but no, it gets to add a +1/+1 counter whenever it attacks and then brings back a creature with less power than it every turn. Why think up combos when you can just put four of those in your deck and wait for your opponent to run out of removal spells? Green used to be about big creatures and temporary boosts, now it is just about stacking counters. Also, there is a two card infinite combo: a bat and a vampire knight where if you take any damage at all when they are both on the field, then they keep bouncing off each other as your life ticks down to zero. But doing damage is easy and getting two cards on the field is not that hard. Landfall has become the same thing. Getting lands already rewards you, because you have more mana and there are already plenty of cards that bring out more lands. So, you should get a small reward for doing something easy that rewards you, not a bunch of counter stacking or even counter doubling that ramps up to become unstoppable. And that's another thing. It used to not be easy to get permanent buffs for creatures, you had to use equipment or enchantments or possibly counters. Now, it's all over the place and temporary buffs seem to have all but disappeared. I respect the ingenuity of some of these crazy combo decks, but just spamming rares and mythics isn't that. And "git gud" isn't an answer because cards do different enough things that you are basically playing different games. Magic is a great game, but it is at its greatest when played with cards balanced against each other. Basically what I'm trying to say is that MTG isn't really one game, it's a bunch of smaller games with their own rules and those games are often incompatible. Edit: reading some other reviews which explain the issues with matchmaking (apparently specifically to get a 50% win/loss rate) and subpar shuffling algorithms that don't match real shuffling all that well, those are some drawbacks of arena specifically. I would still recommend the game as an introduction to magic or an easy opportunity to play, but it's not worth sinking a ton of time or money into it.
dont play this game it super sucks go play paper instead
This game is great if you like MTG
I love how the game has no grey area within the rules as no judges are required. Some players can be super cocky. If you get a 'nice game' from your opponent on your opening draw is a little rediculous, especially if you end up beating them.
