add trading and it would be so much better but no bc adding trading makes less money and could make our player happy and we dont want that

Look, it's better than Yugioh. Been playing for the last 5 years, though only recently through Steam. Hate the direction they've gone with the game. Doubled the size of Standard and increased the power level at the same time, because money, while they neglect formats they easily could've invested in. Similarly, Brawl has become a show of who draws the most broken card or combo first or not. (For those who don't know anything about Magic, basically this means the game is a constant flow of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ now). Still better than Yugioh, despite my Avatar. You'll have fun if you only care about winning and not brewing. Play the broken & braindead meta, where you either have it or you don't. Nothing to think about. I reinstall when new sets drop, then am quickly reminded why I uninstalled it and correct my mistake. If you play though, DO NOT spend money. Play commander with your friends in real life. Better still, use proxies. Please don't give WotC money. In all seriousness though... it IS still better than Yugioh

Gigantic waste of time if you are a real magic fan, less functionality (about 1/4th of the features still exist) than 2012s duel of plans walkers & sold with a "ftp" tag despite half of the menus in your face being payment options for means of adding boosters(aka rewards for playing the game aka pay to win). table top simulator is more likely to be what your looking for over this game because there is no way to not 1v1 in arena

Really fun game and glad I found an easy way to get into Magic The Gathering. Been wanting to get into it for years. A lot of people say its really predatory and to a degree that is true. Though I was able to craft a couple meta decks right off the bat without spending a dime. They give you a bunch of stuff for free when you first get the game and after completing the tutorials and all the color challenges (make sure to check you inbox in game that's where a lot of the free gifts are). Now that I'm into it I have no issue buying packs really. If you never want to spend a dime just craft a decent deck with what they give you and grind the daily/weekly challenges and you'll get free packs. Overall love this game and would recommend!
