Mobile client is terrible The MTG Arena mobile app is great when it works, but that’s not often enough. Wizards is aware of the issue. It makes you sign a disclaimer that says they’re not responsible for issues when playing on a mobile client. I’ve had countless issues of getting disconnected mid game, but the way it freezes. You can’t actually tell that you’re disconnected and by the time you get back in the game, your timers run out and you lose, and this happens in paid-for events as well. Not sure what the issue is with the servers, but it leads to a pretty lackluster mobile gameplay experience.

Love the game but this App is a hot mess Since WotC support is unresponsive, I’m left no choice but to write a bad review here in hopes that someone sees it. Since the most recent set of updates the game freezes regularly and I get timed out before I can respond. I love this game but lately it’s borderline unplayable.

Why wont YOU Fix the shuffle system (answer developers) I say I’m gonna open the app to relax and play a little magic that i enjoy but that quickly turns into a nightmare thanks to the horrible shuffle system. Try playing with only TWO LANDS TILL TURN 7 for a good time, HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE!!!!! Dont want overpowered decks wining then DONT OFFER US WILDCARDS IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!!!!!! WANA KEEP YOUR SANITY STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS APP

Good. But massive This thing is huge. You can download the app normally but it’s so unoptimized that its patches are gigabytes of local storage necessary to play the game. Wizards needs to learn how to optimize space a little. The game is pretty good otherwise, just not super easy to see visually. Text is so small. Not as mobile friendly as something like hearthstone, and obviously way more complicated than it. 3/5

Too much money and feels like work Buy the real cards and play with friends. This game is not relaxing and does not deliver for the amount of money you can easily sink into it. The majority of the formats do not encourage casual play. If you like Magic for the artwork, story, and relaxing play, dump money into actual cards. I am not a hater at all and have played the game for years. Strongly recommend you play another game for relaxing, fun gameplay that is competitive and has beautiful art.

Takes forever to find matches Hot garbage for servers

Timer People keep running out timer when there about to lose so please shorten the timer limit and fix the bots match allow bots to run better decks playing against the same decks is dumb it’s been years and you haven’t add new decks for the bots can’t really test are decks on them when the bots decks suck a whole butt cheek.

Pay To Win. Awfully pay to win. The premade decks they force you to use are just trash and then you get to wait 2 mins while your enemy sets their phone down and walks away…. Matches don’t flow well and it’s really only good for learning the system so you can play in person because this is a scummy business model and even smellier game. You’ll get awful hands every time and be subjected to losing 9 out of 10 matches because their premades are totally absolutely garbage. Awful game do not play.

I love it, but it freezes and glitches The game itself is fun, but it keeps freezing when you open the app. Please fix this issue so that I can keep playing without deleting the app and reinstall, thank you.

Terrible match making There’s no new player friendly que’s outside the AI tutorial que. Every other one will put you against players who’ve been playing the game for ever, on top of spending money. And just so happen to get new perfect starts every game. Would rate 0/5 but it isn’t possible
