Do you magic, do you yuri?
Hello, all aspiring mugols. Oh, sorry, this ain't Hogwarts, but the setting seems strangely familiar. We have young adepts in magic, attending the academy developing their qualities. Well, and then there is our female protagonist, born to an accomplished family, yet having no innate magical abilities whatsoever. Desperate to prove themself, our protagonist, Eve, uses a forbidden item to join the school. Also, some yuri shenanigans ensue. Everything is enclosed in less than one hour of reading, despite three possible outcomes to see. The biggest gripe I have with this title is the lack of sufficient development and rushed endings thus, impact. It's hard to care about characters or events without proper exposition and gripping personalities. I felt little after completion; there is no lasting impact. As an example, I had to remind myself of the name of the main character when writing this short review; everything is too forgettable. I certainly read worse, but it's difficult for me to find enough verve to extol this vn, and I usually like yuri stories, even short ones.
The visuals meet the acceptable standards of budget vns, but the quantity is on the low end. The pool of character poses and expressions is very limited. The backgrounds are very austere and scarce; were they done in pain, or something?. As for the ecchi side, don't expect much either. The enticing panty shot promoting this vn is nearly all you will experience here. The level of lewdness is kept very low, disappointingly low. Not recommended for gooners.
Music-wise, don't hope for much either, as there is little variety. The few tracks accompanying the story won't stay in your memory for long, but they do match the magical theme somewhat. Still, they're just there to fill the silence, not grab attention.

Overall, while I don't hate this vn, it is very bland and way too short and rushed. Nothing stands out, even when compared to similarly priced titles of a similar nature. It is surely not the worst find, but it lacks qualities I would consider worth experiencing. The basics are there, and nothing breaks, but it is not enough to earn my recommendation: 4.5/10
