If you can't get enough of the Madoka universe and would like to dive deeper into their stories, I highly recommend playing Exedra. Next to all the officical stories (Main Story, Movies and all the mangas like Oriko Magica) Exedra also adds new event stories regularly and unlike other games that make event stories exclusive, Exedra adds them permanently to an archive. The gamplay is fun and easy to get into. For a Gacha-Game it is also pretty F2P friendly, if you aren't interessted in the harder challanges.
Great game it actually dives into the characters I just wish the 3d models werent so overused and we got more art from the shows and rebellion
The gameplay is genuinely enjoyable, and I respect the work that went into it. The enemies, witches, and characters all have creative designs, and many of the attacks are funny, cute, or just strange, someone who defeats enemies with love and hearts? I’m not an anime expert, though, so I’ll accept it...ish! My biggest issue is the purchasing system. Be careful with your money, because some in-game currencies can expire. It is extremely frustrating to save for a character, come up slightly short, then lose that progress, get legacy metals that literally give you nothing of value, and those expire too, basically you can risk paying and getting little to nothing. I spent too much for a few characters i need, got none of them, mostly 3-stars, some 4-stars, and a 5 star i can't even use, basically nothing. It also worries me that, because this is a gacha game, it may eventually shut down and disappear. I hope the developers someday release a permanent offline or standalone version so all of the artwork, gameplay, and effort can remain part of the franchise’s legacy instead of being lost years down the line. Overall, it is still a very good game, especially for turn-based fans. This is my first gacha game—and probably my last—but I still think it is worth playing. Just be careful with your money or just keep it really. (opinion will change when/if the game improves, most don't!)
