Mad Max

This game is a guilty pleasure of mine. It's not super long or the best thing ever, but it's got just enough fun to it that I come back every few years and replay it. If you like GTA and Mad Max: Fury Road, you'll probably be surprised how fun this is. That is, assuming you have the patience to get through the opening like 2 hour tutorial. Not sure why the game drip feeds you the upgrades and stuff, but it kind of lowkey reminds me of the old red faction games. Anyway, it's fun.

A terrible PC port that forces you to fix the game before you can even play it The game launches in windowed mode, and the problems only get worse from there. It comes with several ridiculous issues by default. Cutscenes play without voices, and mouse sensitivity is initially set to zero, meaning the camera simply does not move until you identify the problem and manually fix it. The settings menu does not work properly either. I can highlight certain options, but whenever I press Enter to change them, the game switches back to windowed mode. It makes adjusting the settings almost impossible and, to make matters worse, it changes my graphics settings and sets everything to the lowest possible quality. I started a new game hoping I could fix these problems through the in-game options. Instead, the opening cutscene played without voices and suffered from major graphical glitches: the vehicles were transparent, allowing me to see the characters inside them. I eventually skipped the cutscene because watching it in that state was pointless. The PC controls are also awful. It is painfully obvious that the game was designed to be played with a controller, yet it does not even allow you to remap the controls. You are forced to use an outdated, unintuitive button layout that makes the entire game feel mechanically clumsy and unresponsive. Aesthetically, this game has everything it needs to be something I could enjoy. Unfortunately, between the awkward controls and all the time I have already wasted identifying and fixing problems that exist by default, I am now getting dangerously close to the refund time limit. I would rather get my money back than keep giving it more chances. If the beginning of the game is this poorly handled, I have no reason to trust that I will not encounter another bug halfway through the campaign that ruins the experience completely. Refund requested.

this was b tier game 10 years ago and was fun when there wasnt that many great games released as we have today, but to play it in 2026 feels like a chore. Clunky movement, boat car controls, grinding upgrades and tiring slow animations cant compete with modern gaming options unless you are a massive fan of mad max universo.

No geral é umRecomendado 👍 Mad Max é daqueles jogos que acertam na atmosfera e no combate, mas pecam no "mundo aberto genérico". ✅ Prós: Ambientação incrível, cenário pós-apocalíptico bem construído Combate corpo a corpo com pegada tipo Batman Arkham, mas mais bruto Combates de veículo excelentes — o ponto alto do jogo História principal boa, com arco de vingança envolvente Personagens carismáticos (Chumbucket é sensacional) ❌ Contras: Missões secundárias repetitivas e sem graça Mundo aberto bonito, mas vazio Fica repetitivo depois de algumas horas Resumo: se você curte destruir carro dos outros e uma boa vibe de deserto violento, vale muito a pena. Só não espere um mundo aberto cheio de conteúdo surpreendente — é mais sobre a jornada do Max do que sobre explorar cada cantinho do mapa. Nota: 7.5/10
