I really enjoyed this game, saw the ad when I was browsing games on the kickstarter games page and have to say I'm impressed. The music is AMAZING!!! I didn't know many of the bands when I started but I really enjoyed the soundtrack. The game takes a moment to pick up and I often found myself losing on a first go around but once I knew the song a bit and figured out the beat I was able to beat the levels. The game is kind of a mix of plants vs zombies and guitar hero. Its not the most complex game out there but if you love good music and want to shoot aliens I highly recommend.
TL;DR: Probably fun on a touchscreen device; unplayable on PC (as of the time of this writing). This game has an AMAZING soundtrack. Lets just say that upfront. I love most of the bands and musicians on here, and was happy to back this on KS. How I was 11 Minutes into this game when I couldn't take it anymore. Eleven minutes into the game. Think about that for a second. My PC will run anything I throw at it, except LOPX apparently. The game drops out repeatedly, and that leave me unable to keep the rhythm necessary to play this game. Default controls of mouse is pretty mediocre, and after having figured out the controls on my controller, well I still couldn't keep the beat, as the game itself would stutter the onscreen action out of sync with the music, leaving me completely unable to match the beat. I could attempt to follow the beats of the outer border light, but that too didn't matter as it appears I had lag upon reacting every time. As the game constatnly going out of sync kills the ability to actually play it on a PC, this was a real drag for me. I'd be willing to bet this game is great on a touchscreen, but I would avoid it on a PC, or anything else. If the controls and lag get fixed I'd love to come back to this one, as it has a lot of potential, but until then I can't recommend it to those on PC.

I backed this at the $70 tier on Kickstarter because I absolutely love music games, so I'm bummed out to have to give this a negative review. None of the controls on PC - mouse, keyboard, or controller - feel good at all. I am honestly stunned that they even made the mouse controls the "default" in the interface; they should never have been in the game in the first place. Imagine trying to play Stepmania or DDR with a mouse, that's what the mouse controls feel like. I purchased the game for $4 on iPhone and that, it turns out, is way better! Runs fine on my iPhone 6 and the screen is big enough that easily playable. I am really disappointed they did not even try to create a solid PC control scheme. Unlike some reviews here, I'm pretty happy with the game itself (and find it quite challenging), so I'm hoping they resolve the control issues on PC soon.
