Lore of the Frog

game involves hiking in mystical land with hella frogs. you can put hats on the frogs! for these reasons I enjoy the game very much as I am very passionate about frogs. If you do not share my passion you might be disappointed as the game often feels like it was programmed by someone still learning to make games; that being said I think the frogginess outweighs any cumbersome controls and weirdness. Also huge shoutout to whoever wrote the dialogue/text it is hilarious and very fun. I found this game to be very relaxing and chill. recommend to anyone who like meditative games or frogs.

I had fun coming up with silly, frog related names for all the frogs I gave hats to! 2-3 hours to complete! [👎] Rather short, would love more content one day maybe, more hats, more frogs, and even an ability to actually name the frogs would be very cool! 🗳️ 🔲🔲🔲🔲🔲🔲🔲🔳🔳 🔳 7/10 🗳️

the forest feels dreamy and magical. frogs are super adorable especially with the hats. the puzzles are simple but you will need to explore the island to find clues, which is relaxing - the exploration doesn't feel like a chore. game is short and can be finished in one sitting.

Relaxing and atmospheric journey on an island of frogs. A cozy time solving puzzles and finding collectibles. And the best part?... Hats... you can put hats on frogs... all the frogs! I would recommend this game to anyone that is building their cozy game library or that just want to sit back and vibe to the dream-like game that is Lore of the Frog. This game has been so cute and fun to play! The different puzzles, adventures, frogs, and the hats! I love dressing up the different frogs and it has been amazing going through this game. If you love cozy games or frogs this is definitely an amazing game to try out!

One of the most charming, relaxing, and healing games I've played in ages! The graphics are pretty, the music is soothing, and the game is just plain fun to play! It's quite short too so it can easily be completed in one sitting.

Lore of the Frog is a short, but sweet game. As a lover of cozy games and, most especially frogs, this game was right up my alley. It's aesthetically pleasing and, not only can you collect hats to make the frogs look super stylish, you can PET THEM, which was fantastic. There is a lot of room for exploration and wandering about, and items you can collect/find if you enjoy that, however you don't have to. I do wish that there were more puzzles to solve as I was left wanting to explore more of the world and I hope that we see additions or continued stories in the future. Just a heads up that if you do get motion sickness from playing first person games, you will likely struggle with this, as I did.

Lore of the Frog was exactly what I needed to play tonight. The world and the music and the atmosphere brought me to a meditative and relaxing place. All I knew about this game was that I would play as a frog archaeologist and I got to put hats on frogs. This brought me so much joy and I will recommend Lore of the Frog to anyone looking for a cozy, fun, and beautiful game.
