About
Raise your banner in a brutal world where only strength, steel, and strategy will decide your fate. Lead legendary heroes, forge unstoppable armies, and crush your enemies across epic campaigns and large-scale battlefields.
Lords And Legions is a true medieval fantasy warfare game. Hero-driven combat, massive battles, dynamic campaigns, and a living sandbox world where you create cinematic clashes or chaotic wars — the battlefield is yours to command.
You begin alone — a lone hero armed with a small purse of gold and nothing else.
Every battle is a chance to grow stronger. Victory earns you gold — gold that you can spend to raise an army, train new units, and prepare for the wars ahead. But as your army grows, so does the challenge. Each new enemy force is stronger and larger than the last.
If you are defeated, you will rebuild if you can — unless you choose Hardcore. In Hardcore, there are no second chances. Every choice you make, every soldier you recruit, every risk you take carries the weight of survival or destruction.
Survive through fierce battles and you'll face the might of each faction's strongest armies. Defeat them, and your war for domination continues against new and even greater enemies.
Campaign Mode in Lords And Legions is not just about building an army — it's about building a legend.
🏰 Sandbox Mode
Sandbox Mode in Lords And Legions is your world to shape.
Create your battlefields, design your wars, and bring any scene you imagine to life. Raise hills, carve valleys, plant forests, or wipe the land clean — the terrain is fully in your hands. Set the weather to a calm sunset, a raging storm, or a dark and misty battlefield.
Place any units you want, in any number you want. Form great armies, small skirmishes, or massive sieges. Shape the sides however you choose — pit the Empire against the Warborn, the Undead against the Rebels, or mix factions for pure chaos.
Whether you want cinematic clashes, epic last stands, or brutal free-for-alls, Sandbox Mode lets you craft the wars you've always wanted to see. Watch your armies collide, witness heroes rise and fall, and create unforgettable battles.
There are no rules here. Only the ones you make.

This is an enjoyable game, if you like this kind of strategy/combat warfare. Maps aren't large, but that's not why I'm here. I just like this style of combat. Campaigns are short, but can be challenging. Replayability is there, just needs more troops, combat improvements, and longer campaigns. It does have its bugs, but they get updated regularly. There are plans to expand the game in the future, no timeline on that. Overall I can say that I do enjoy this game a lot, I wish it had more to offer. I like what it offers though, for the price as well. If you are playing this to live out your kingdom under fire 2 days... It will slightly scratch the itch, but its not as dynamic. If they can get that dynamic factor going in combat, dialogues and stories mixed into that, dedicated music per faction, etc.. this will be a really really good game. Either way, I'm gonna stick around and see where this goes, I'm having fun. :)
Has potential, Still needs more time in the oven. Don't expect strategic unit gameplay like Mount and Blade or total war, it's more of a auto battler hack&slash roguelite. Atleast thats what it is currently.
The game is still early access but already you have different factions with units that are both SIMILAR but different Not sure if this is a plus or not but you don't spend your time managing the battle and moving the troops instead you just play as the hero / Villan ( depending on the Faction) there is a campaign but it's currently more of random creation where you select your path (to camp and get more soldiers , to attack a swamp or a hill) and that's it , hopefully in the future it will contain more and a sandbox mode i've had fun with the game so far , i recommend you get it
Very Early Access Game, but man does it have soul. You can play two modes: Sandbox mode: where you edit terrain, add trees/water make buildings interiors and spawn in units to play out little scenarios. Its a bit too complicated for my small brain. Campaign Mode is the meat of what the avg person is going to go for. Its a sort of rouge like map progression with a faction hero and units flavored for them. You level up, get gold, and unlock new units as you go. The game is an Auto-battler with you having a hero in 3rd person swanking through the enemy. You can set up where your units start, their amount and which type at the start of battle, but once things start you have no control over them. So far from what I can tell, Necromancer & Empire the heroes can easily Kill off the enemy armies if you don't want to have an Ally army. Whats interesting to me is that if your units get the kill, you dont get exp for it, so early on its easy to just solo the enemy army to get a good deal of levels to make life easier later on. You might find that having your army fight beside you, is doing more harm than going in alone to solo the enemy for exp. The concept is here, the game just has some very annoying bugs. Performance tanks once you reach over 500 units, though that might just be a me problem, trying to field your entire end game army is also a good way to lag the game. So I think the best way to play the game is with a hero and 1-2 formations of allies to help you assault the enemy unless you want a slideshow. two nearly game breaking bugs I've found is one maps will just have the enemy path to a location and ignore you and your army will do the same, on these maps you have to hunt them down, its a swamp map incase you run into it. There are other maps with ruins and sometimes the enemy can be ontop of it, or inside of the ruins/clipped under it. If you dont have the right abilities your campaign run just ends there. There are also some other bugs and complications with the game, but overall I think the game has some big potential if they can fix those bugs. I'd recommend it you want to get involved and talk with the dev help with bug fixing, get the game join the discord. It seems like they are pretty active there. If you want a game to just play, let it cook for a bit. This is very much an Early Access, fun and unique concept, just not ready unless you like finding ways to break the game.
What a clunky mess and in some point in the campaign no units were attacking each other, they just gathered around and stood there, that's when I decided to exit and refund.
Good game. HUGE save issue. when you load your save. you are not where you were
Great game so far it is still a bit rough on the edges but it is more like a auto battler with 1 hero unit you can play as.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ff5d5Wjau9U
Lords and Legions : L'Action-RPG au cœur de la mêlée (8/10)

Introduction - Qu'est-ce que Lords and Legions ?

🎯 Conclusion et Verdict

Note finale : 8/10
Statut : Accès Anticipé (Sortie : 23 septembre 2025) - Développeur : Warborne Studios
