Working out, ordering out, cleaning the house... or grabbing your Moby ♥♥♥♥ and going Ahab on that lad. With 12 levels of deep-thought puzzles to complete and two free DLC featuring short additional levels, as the motto of the game goes: Train your brain! Masturb*te like crazy! [h1]--- First Impressions ---[/h1] As a game made during and for the global pandemic, I have good hopes going into this title. The music has that classic Team Tailnut look to it and so I'm genuinely looking forward to the game. The main menu looks great and I'm loving the stylistic approach that they've gone with it. Going into the game, my main concern is going to be about what limitations the pandemic imposed on the type of content that will be here. When I launched the game, I came across the first major issue of the game: the dead inputs. Playing with keyboard and mouse, sometimes I'd have to press the same directional input several times before it registered even once. Switching to a controller, this was much less of a problem, but still persisted quite a fair amount to the point where it was just frustrating to deal with. This issue never got better as I kept playing. Dead inputs are a massive problem for this game. [h1]--- Character Design ---[/h1] Featuring four girls, Dezue really knows how to appeal to lovers of a certain body type, offering four beautiful women that are a bit gifted with their large breasts, cutely chubby tummy, and thicc thighs. Each girl follows this style to potentially a flawed degree as there isn't any variation in their appearances aside from some minor differences in hair. If not for the game explicitly telling you who you're looking at, you're unlikely to know who it is just by looking at them. What the girls lack in visual diversity they make up for in the roles that they portray whether it's the naughty neighbor Allison, the lewd landlady Bethany, the seductive streamer Bunnyhop, and the gifted girlfriend Celina. Each fulfill a role and a lot of their lewd acts and much of the dialogue (as imagined by you-- the main character) comes from the idea of what their roles are and not necessarily how different they look from each other. [h1]--- The LEWDS ---[/h1] With 14 levels (including the two free DLC levels), there are 13 lewd scenes for you to enjoy involving still images with slight variations, typically being clothed, topless, fully nude, then climax. The dialogue in these scenes are particularly saucy, giving you a short erotica about what the girl is doing and how that makes you feel as the main character. Similar to the lewd streamer ProjektMelody, the girls initiate a countdown to climax, encouraging you (the player) to join them. With how episodic the game is, it does feel like you're meant to do one level a day (especially during the pandemic) to really get that rewarding feeling of progression and differing lewd rewards. All of the lewd content presented in these scenes revolves around self-pleasure, no intercourse of any kind. But the subject tends to be thematic. For example, in a level about working out, you'll be rewarded with a muscle-toned version of your girl using a vibrating dumbbell to get herself off. Or when taking care of animals, you'll get a girl in cat ears and a tail buttplug. These thematic additions help to break up the sameness of the concept without it getting old and to the credit of the game, it manages to pull off the same concept 13 times without it getting old or feeling reused. The dialogue helps tremendously with this. Around the levels themselves you may find some additional lewds: some lewd posters or a body pillow or some figures. Nothing spectacular, but they're neat little eye candy splashed around to give you something rewarding to look at while you're trying to solve some puzzles. The gallery allows for instant replaying of the lewd scenes for each level without needing to replay the level itself. This really helps give a solid feeling of reward as not only are you given great lewd imagery with some saucy dialogue, but you're given the ability to look back on that reward for that grand feeling all over again. [h1]--- Gameplay Overview ---[/h1] Being a puzzle-based game, the formula revolves around finding numbers and the order those numbers need to be in in order to put in the 5-digit number and get your reward! Typically these puzzles are very fair and encourage some out of the box thinking. The level and theme is set up in such a way that you're often going to be re-analyzing the same things from previous levels with some minor alterations (or not-so-minor in some later levels), so I hope you like that bedroom layout. Only on very few occasions did I find a puzzle to be nonsense, confusing, or even wrong in one instance. For example, the infamous ice cube puzzle of Episode 7 is very nonsensical as none of the ice cube combinations look correct and so you're just going to make an educated guess... which is usually wrong. This was one of the few times I had to look at the official guide and while the developer(s) acknowledged a need to rework that puzzle, after two years this has not been fixed. Celina's birthday hint in Episode 8 is just incorrect as far as in-game logic is concerned. It is discovered during one clue that Celina's birthday is in the summer, and you're given a list of four zodiac signs corresponding with each season. The issue is that the summer begins in late June, which corresponds with the Leo sign within the game. Despite this being objectively correct, it is the wrong answer and the game instead wants you to call her a Gemini, despite that having the dates associated with Spring. Aside from these few frustrating puzzles, most of the game remains pretty solvable once you get a grasp on what you're supposed to do. There isn't too much external knowledge required, although there was one circuit puzzle that I had absolutely no idea what they were talking about since I flunked science often. Most of it was simple math or pattern recognition, maybe some mental visualization or memorization. Honestly, this type of gameplay works super well as a point-and-click style game and encouraged external note-taking often. Perhaps my biggest grievance with the gameplay aside from the controls mentioned in an earlier section is the repetitive nature of promoting another game from the same developer. This same game gets brought up several times and for a game that has you repetitively interacting with the same objects every day, getting that same advertisement every single time and having a whole level dedicated to that advertisement is a little much. I get it, the game is free, but let me play this one first. [h1]--- Issues / Bugs ---[/h1] · No major bugs (aside from dead inputs) were encountered while playing [h1]--- Final Thoughts ---[/h1] Despite some glaring issues in the realm of the controls and some frustrating puzzle solutions, I found the game to be overwhelmingly charming and full of fun gameplay elements. The lewds are tasteful, the dialogue is saucy, and the vast majority of the puzzles are satisfying to solve while being appropriately challenging as well. Team Tailnut kindly gifted me a copy of this long ago. However, back then, I had some technical issues and couldn't run it on my computer. Recently, I updated my OS, which somehow fixed every issue I was having. Lucky for me, too, because this game is a sexy fun time. This game was originally released as a series of small browser games during the lockdown period from 2020 to 2021, when most of the world had to undergo lockdown to avoid spreading covid, hence the game's theming. The Steam version has a LOT of cool exclusive content you won't get in the free chapters, which makes it well worth a purchase! Lots of new puzzles, new lewdies, and a cute epilogue at the end of it all! The premise is that you're a normal everyday nerdy dude in your tiny apartment during lockdown, and there's a sexy puzzle inexplicably installed into your house. If you solve the puzzle, you get to see videos of lovely girls doing sexy things, as a reward for being a clever boy, hehe. It's a really sweet and simple story, and there's a certain "cozy" aspect to it. No non-con, no violence, no minors, no racism, just footage of girls having fun. I love porn games like that, they're borderline wholesome despite the, you know, lewdness. One very important thing to note here is the amount of effort and love that went into this game. It's orders of mangitude higher than you'd expect for the average indie porn game. For starters, the quirky cartoony graphical style is unique to Tailnut's work, going for charm over realism, which I love. Also, some of the puzzles are really interesting and creative, rewarding clever thought without ever being overwhelmingly difficult. Another aspect that stood out to me is the legit respect the main character shows towards the girls he's entertaining himself to. Like, he knows they're people just like him, and they're also probably going through some lockdown hardships. I found that really freaking sweet. I mean, only because you're horny, doesn't mean you can't be a good person, right? So in general, Tailnut absolutely knocked this one out of the park. If you're looking for a chill erotic adventure without anything horrendous or mean going on, this is the place to get it.
