This story must go hard if you're 14. I just don't see the hype about this game or why people adore it so much. Story starts like your average highschool drama and then at the end
you have to save arcadia bay from the hurricane i somehow caused by traveling in the past too much (?)
characters do not get enough time or enough writing to make you actually feel anything for them and with max's new time travelling powers you can go back in time to undo/change a choice you made (except for 2) which kills the sense of responsibility but just cool enough to make you see other outcomes without having to do another playthrough. The time travelling gimmick could have been much more but it always felt like it never really used its full potential.
none of the choices you make through the game matter at the very end since you get to choose between sacrificing your friend (everyone lives except for chloe) or sacrifice all of arcadia bay (everyone dies except for chloe and max) what the ♥♥♥♥?
there must have been some hypnosis or brain wash in the game that won "awards" and made grown ass people cry their eyes out and for this game to have 173k positive reviews, so much so that people fall into depression after completing it? These people would kill themselves if they played the first season of the walking dead. What a lame mosh-pit "shakabrah"
Clocking in at 11.4 hours to complete all five episodes, Life is Strange delivers an exceptional narrative anchored by inventive time-rewind puzzle mechanics, an immaculate indie-folk atmosphere, and a compelling butterfly effect that makes every decision carry genuine weight. The emotional bond between Max and Chloe serves as the game's beating heart, while late-game narrative twists and escalating stakes create an intense momentum that demands marathoning straight to the finale. While playing the original release reveals minor age marks like stiff lip-syncing and unpolished rain effects, its rock-solid PC performance and unforgettable emotional resonance easily earn it a definitive 9.5/10.
This game is a true masterpiece. I never expected the story to unfold the way it did. Every chapter kept me hooked, and by the time I reached the ending, the game hit me with one of the hardest choices I've ever had to make . No matter what you choose someone loses and you're left feeling emotionally drained. The plot twists completely caught me off guard. I never imagined that the person I trusted the most. the one I believed could never do anything wrong—would betray your trust. At the same time, the character I initially thought was the bad guy ended up saving you. (If you've played the game, you'll know exactly what I mean) The game does an incredible job of manipulating your emotions and challenging your assumptions. It constantly makes you question who to trust, and that's one of the reasons the story is so unforgettable. The storytelling, gameplay mechanics, atmosphere, and especially the soundtrack are all phenomenal. Everything comes together to create an emotional experience that stays with you long after the credits roll. 10/10. One of the best story-driven games I've ever played.
FUN game!
Life Is Strange... Life Is Strange; insanları dışarıdan göründüklerine göre yargılamamayı, bir söz söylerken iki kere düşünmeyi ve verdiğiniz kararları uygulamadan önce etrafınızda sizi seven, size değer veren insanların da fikirlerini almayı çok güzel anlatıyor. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3787046992 ୨୧ Benim için ölmeden önce oynanması gereken oyunlar arasında yerini kesinlikle aldı.
Life is Strange is genuinely a game I believe everyone should play at least once in their life. I played the first Life is Strange years ago, but before that, I was never really interested in story-driven games. For me, a game just needed good gameplay. I would skip cutscenes and dialogue whenever I could. I even tried Mass Effect once and deleted it within an hour because there was just too much talking for me. The only reason I ended up playing Life is Strange was because I had a terrible PC at the time, and it was one of the games my computer could actually run. And oh my god, I was not prepared for what I was getting into. This game was so good that, somehow, as a boy, I actually felt like I was experiencing things from the perspective of a teenage girl. I became invested in her relationships, and the choices I was making in a way I had never experienced in a game before. Life is Strange completely changed how I looked at video games. Before playing it, I didn't really care about stories in games. After playing it, I started appreciating how powerful storytelling in video games could be. A game could make you care about characters, make difficult choices, and genuinely feel something in a way that other forms of media couldn't. It changed my perspective on video games and my life. To me, Life is Strange is an almost perfect game. Not because everything about it is flawless, but because of the experience it gave me and how much it changed the way I viewed games. I genuinely think everyone should experience it at least once.
