the best way to describe it is LIGHTNING IN A BOTTLE. DontNod created something special when they made this game, and every game in the franchise since has tried to recapture the essence of LIS1 (some more successfully than others). Almost everything in this game is perfect: protagonist: relatable Supporting characters: invested in Villain: unexpected. Superpower: innovative and well implemented. Plots: twisted Music: SYD MATTERS YOU HAVE MY LIFE. Front bumper: dented And the stuff that wasn’t perfect was pretty damn close (please remake this game and give the characters fingernails…). This game is one of two games I wish I had no memory of, for the sole reason of being able to play it again for the first time. It’s also one of the two games I’m considering getting a tattoo of.
