Genuinely one of the worst games I have ever "played" and by "played" I mean watched, because the gameplay boils down to moving around and making dialogue "decisions" that almost never have any effect on the predetermined story, and there are basically no real consequences in any of your "decisions". Story is nonsensical and the plot contains more holes than the average Bulgarian road. The voice acting is serviceable for the most part but there are just certain parts where it is so inauthentic and badly performed that it just adds to your negative experience.

O unico jogo que quase me fez chorar com o final, faltou pouco, parabéns before the storm, isso foi um grande feito

I still like Max more than Chloe, but by the end of Before the Storm, I started liking Chloe more than I did at the beginning. That is to say, it's not that she's a badly written character - I just don't (didn't) like her as a person. Not my cup of tea and all that. The story is good though, and the game is a good prequel. Teenagers are teenaging, and there are even bits of... something un-natural ([spoiler]I am looking at you, Rachel Amber, and the fire[/spoiler]) - although nothing outright strange like Max's powers.

No Max with cool time powers in the base game, and I hate prequels. Life is strange before the storm. Instead we get Chloe and her ability to backtalk? That’s just talking. I only bought this for the farewell dlc to play as Max. 5 out of 10.
