Do I think generative AI should be used in video games? No. Do I think this was a fun game? Yes. So I'm a bit torn on how to review it. The game itself is simple but fun. Organize books in a massive library by putting them on the right shelves. As someone who loves sorting things (I loved sorting mail as a small job way back in high school, for example), I think this scratched the perfect itch. It's that same feeling you get doing a puzzle when you find the right piece and it slots into place. -chef's kiss- I never used any of the magic. It would have made things too easy and defeated the purpose (context: you get magic powers that allow you to automatically find all the books of a series, and what shelves they go on, etc). I just picked books up off the floor by color (it's almost like a hidden image game by that standard, too) and organized them one by one from my stack after finding where they went. I have the whole layout memorized. So do I recommend this game? I'd say go with what you feel is right by you. They did use generative AI and in areas where I especially think it wasn't necessary with other tools and people available to them, but it's a fun game.
