Librarian: Tidy Up the Arcane Library!

This game is absolutely wonderful. It is so satisfying and relaxing to play. I look forward to future updates!!!

I don't hate the game, may try to finish the last two achievements... but... AI usage is not acceptable in something that SHOULD be fully creative, it doesn't matter the if ands or buts. This is a simple game that would benefit a LOT of it ai never touched it. But BESIDES that, the magical skills in the game... aren't great, this game has created a situation where the best way to play it feels like it ruins the point. Halfway through, I stopped reading titles, just listening to where things were highlighted to go, summon every book in that series, then put it on the bookshelf by hand to let things load back up. Near the end, I wasn't even doing THAT part and it was by far the smartest way to play it. I tried at the start to play in a way I liked, making a clearing and finding as many white books as I could and starting to sort that way. Looking at the map, taking my time, being fine that the shelf isn't 100% done as I sort around. And then I noticed I don't level up unless a row is finished. So even though I had 3 separate shelves about halfway done, I had no skill points. I broke my system to finish one row entirely, put in a point for the eyes, and from there rapidly realized that my system was the WRONG way to do it. I finished in a bit over 4 hours and 30 minutes, with the achievement being for finishing an 3 hours being the "speed run" variation. That tells me... YOU don't even know how much you made the magic and level up system depend on each other. The only way my system will work is the "no magic" run, which then will TRULY take hours. If I replayed now using what I learned, its extremely easy to just stop giving a ♥♥♥♥ and just spam the magic where you completely stop thinking for yourself and just obey the game. Eyes are good to start and let you build up the book summoning, once you get your book summoning all the way up, the game is over. Upgrade finding the shelves as you care to do it, same with the auto shelving. And WHO CARES about the auto sort, what a waste of a skill. Also having to find keys to be given the ability to jump and run is a choice, I'm not saying its absolutely the wrong one... it just... its a choice.

Steam asks if I recommend the game or not and honestly, it depends. For me, it was a fun little busy thing to do while listening to an audiobook. It was relaxing, funny at times (some of the books made me chuckle), repetitive and tickles that desire to put things in their place. Spells were not fun for me. They took over and did all the work so all I had to do was stand here, press this button, stand there, press that button. Not as fun. So if that mechanic would ruin the fun for you, simply don't use them. The game has very little restrictions when it comes to HOW you finish. You don't HAVE to use spells, you don't HAVE to open the chests... you can just pick up books, read the titles, try to puzzle out where they belong and work through the mess. Which, for me, was fun.

Such a fun and relaxing game. Nearly 30 hours worth of game play. Didnt use any of the spells just really enjoyed sorting manually. <3

I never thought a game about cleaning a library would be so good. If you like tidying activities with a handful of upgrades, check this game out. I didn't explicitly notice AI content, and performance was fine with my computer.
