After Dashpong, Hyperslice and many action oriented jam games, I wanted to work on something more chill. I've been thinking about creating a word game for a while, and I'm super happy to explore a new direction with Lexispell. The goal is to make a small and cozy word game that can also be challenging for avid gamers.
I'm making this alone, with help from Trevron for the music, so don't hesitate to share and wishlist Lexispell!

Les jeux de mots (particulièrement en français) sont trop rares, et celui-ci est une vraie réussite. L'interface se manie avec plaisir, les modes de jeu et les bonus sont bien trouvés et il est difficile de s'arrêter de jouer. On en voudrait plus !
Sehr gelungene Mischung aus Scrabble, Balatro und so einigen anderen ähnlichen Spielen. Sollte man definitiv mal ausprobiert haben, wenn man auf derartige Knobelspiele steht. Wichtig: Im aktuellen Stand unterstützt das Spiel ausschließlich Englisch und Französisch, es ist nicht möglich mit deutschen Wörtern zu spielen, eignet sich aber dafür auch hervorragend, um den eigenen Wortschatz zu trainieren und zu üben, da beispielsweise falsch geschrieben Wörter penibel abgelehnt werden, während allerdings Variationen (etwa Pluralformen) tadellos als gültige Begriffe angenommen werden.

Un super jeu, il faut parfois bien se creuser les méninges pour placer un mot satisfaisant.
Just 90 minutes in and I am hooked. Love the aesthetic and clean buttons. Only thing i could recommend is some more music variety.
Surprisingly fun considering its relatively simple concept. Would recommend if you love puzzle games and looking for something quick and fun with replayability all the while taking up minimal storage.
