Let There Be Life

this game is not all bad but sadly i just cannot recommend it because it is way too restrictive. i know that sounds stupid but that is just how i see it. you puzzle your way through this 'tree constructor' but at all times you have to place the new branches in a way that the added leaves do not block sunlight to the plants on the ground. so you have to work around this limitation all the time and in the end _every single tree_ looks like sh!t and you just want to grab an axe and chop that ugly thing down. plus there is no sandbox mode to just create a really beautiful tree without caring about any limitations. that would be truly relaxing. but instead this light / shadow thing is the only gameplay element in the whole game and it gets old really, really fast.

I love indie games, I really do. But this one offers little to no enjoyment. Each level makes you do the exact same thing: add new branches, and new branches, and new branches, avoid casting shadow on flowers, more branches, and add more branches... Don't get me wrong. If you like branches, a lot of them, this game is for you. But if you don't care about them so much, you'll find this game pretty repetitive and simply boring. Some say Let There Be Life is relaxing, but there are plenty of other relaxing games out there on steam. That's why I'm not recommending this one.

Great game for younger children, my daughter (7) played it and had great fun. have to admit, i enjoyed it too!

34그루의 나무에 나뭇가지를 꽂꽂이 하는 게임 ㅇ;ㅅㅇ 꽃에 그늘지지 않도록 가지를 꽂으면서 버섯에게는 그늘을 만들어줘야하는데... 하다보면 나무가 이리저리 이상하게 가지를 뻗어 이웃집 할아버지가 애지중지하실 법한 분재보다도 해괴한 모양의 나무가 되어버린다 ;;; 좋은 음악과 자연을 벗삼아 꽂꽂이 실력을 갈고닦고 싶은 분들에게 추천! ....... 제 돈 주고는 안 샀습니다.......

I really like the game. It is a good and fun way to kill the time. One thing that I do not like is that you can not change the direction of the branches so they do not always fit where I want them to.

Let me talk to you about the birds and the bees. In this game y' all be putting them branches on them trees but be careful now! Y'all don't want them flowers to be sittin' in the shadow, not gettin' any sun, right? So better make sure y'all put them branches on the right places. Also, you can put them birds, beehives, butterflies and ♥♥♥♥ into the tree, which is kinda nice ain't it ?.

While this game has good artwork and a neat idea it lacks challenge. I skipped to the last level (34) and was able to complete it without much thought, so after that there wasn't any reason to go back and finish the other levels.
