Big Story Impact
This isn’t just another adventure game. In Let Her Go, you’ll dive deep into the protagonist’s mind and uncover his past, his emotions, and his struggles. Many of the hints and puzzles are closely tied to the story — so pay close attention as you play.

Creative Interactions
As the levels get more challenging, you’ll need to think outside the box. We’ve designed a variety of ways for you to progress and escape — from entering codes and finding hidden keys to pressing buttons and discovering secrets. Each room offers fresh, creative interactions to keep you engaged.

Realistic Graphics
Although Let Her Go is created by a small indie team, we chose to invest in realistic, high-quality visuals. Our goal is to make the game feel more immersive and relatable — so that the story and its message truly come to life.

Escape Room Adventure
Let Her Go is a solo escape room adventure, where you'll need to solve a series of challenging puzzles to progress through the levels. The game is designed with a linear structure – each puzzle must be solved to unlock the next room and ultimately reach the last level.
Message and Meaning
As mentioned, we place great importance on the story. In fact, the core idea behind Let Her Go is to deliver a meaningful and powerful message. Play through to the end, and we promise it will leave a lasting impression.

Reviews
I’ve completed Let Her Go and genuinely enjoyed the experience from start to finish. For a first project, this is seriously impressive. The gameplay feels smooth and well thought out. Controls are intuitive, and you can tell a lot of care went into the details. Each level introduces new ideas and interactions, so it never feels repetitive. The escape-room mechanics are creative and require you to really pay attention. What stood out most to me was the atmosphere. Every room has its own mood, supported by fitting music and subtle sound design that really pulls you in. The realistic visuals and lighting make the environments feel immersive and believable. The difficulty isn’t too easy, but that’s what makes it satisfying. Some puzzles take time, yet solving them feels rewarding rather than frustrating. It encourages you to think and stay engaged. Overall, this is a strong story-driven escape room adventure with a unique concept and a lot of heart behind it. I definitely recommend giving it a try.
Such a cute game! I was told that it tells a deep story with a great message at the end and it didn't disappoint! Crazy to think it's only 12 bucks on release when you have a full movie and escape room experience in one! Highly recommended and I'll play it through once again for sure!
It starts with a nightmare. You have no idea what’s happening. You hear voices, but the screen remains black. To make it even stranger, the scene continues even after you press the Esc button to open the menu, which would normally pause the game. When you unpause, it still looks broken because the black screen lingers for a while before the game finally loads. You wake up in a room connected to another, slightly different room. There are no other exits. Instead of following the typical indie horror formula, often favored by new developers who rely heavily on borrowed assets or artificial intelligence, this game leans more toward an escape room style experience. There is no tutorial or guidance. You are left to figure out the mechanics on your own. The first obstacle is that nothing is clearly marked. To interact with anything, you must move close and hover a tiny, barely visible cursor over objects. The cursor changes from a circle to a white dot to indicate something can be examined. The first puzzle requires you to find three notes in each room and match them on a computer with other text messages. This would be manageable if not for a few bigger problems. One note is partially obscured by a broken texture that covers two thirds of it, making it almost impossible to spot unless you already know it is there. Another issue involves the graphical settings. Anything below the ultra preset setting removes the lighting entirely, covering most of the room in darkness and making progress feel like searching for a needle in a haystack. After completing each location, you hear a few lines from the protagonist about his girlfriend who left him, and then you transition to another small area. These sections feel more like fragmented memories than coherent spaces, though their puzzles are easier than the initial scavenger hunt. In an old shack, you match letters with numbers to obtain a four digit keycode. If you discover three digits, you can easily brute force the last one. Next is a movie theater where you must delete or save several recordings. This is the simplest section, since the recordings always appear in the same place and you can quickly memorize the correct button. However, if you move too close to the screen, it breaks, preventing you from seeing the character speak. After that comes a dungeon where you count eyes and limbs in prison cells. Some cells are locked, limiting your view. Because you only need three numbers, I ended up brute forcing the code again by finding as many eyes as possible and then trying all combinations. It turned out I missed an eye. The last stage is another simple task set in poorly lit surroundings, where you piece together a name by searching for letters in a graveyard. Then the game simply ends, offering little resolution. It is extremely short and can be completed in under an hour, even without earning the single achievement, which appears to be broken. Considering the limited content and poor optimization, the incredibly high price works against it, especially for a debut title released into an oversaturated market filled with better games at much lower prices.
Sehr gute Storyline durch alle Levels. Knifflige Rätsel. Gutes Design. Bin gespannt was noch in Zukunft kommt!
Let Her Go is a beautifully atmospheric escape-room game with surprising emotional depth. The rooms are well designed, the riddles are clever without being frustrating, and the story slowly pulls you in. A great indie experience for players who enjoy thoughtful challenges and strong storytelling.
