Leisure Suit Larry was first released by Sierra On-Line in 1987 and became an international phenomenon. The lovable loser Larry Laffer -- a 40-year-old virgin in pursuit of losing his vir….um, finding true love -- and risqué humor were unlike anything anyone had ever seen or played.

Brilliant modern remake of the original Land of the Lounge Lizards Sierra game from the 80s and 90s. A definite must for old adventure game enthusiasts.
awful boring.
A good Leisure Suit Larry In The Land Of The Lounge Lizard remake with good graphics and some nice additions to the original game. As always, Al Lowe's humour is my kind of humour. Although, if your're playing for the achievements, be aware that the "Yankmaster" achievement is pure luck. You might get it right away, or have to play the slot machine for hours. Be warned.

There's an annoying resolution bug, but I managed to find a work around
Lots of the point and click functions felt pretty clunky. Pretty frustrating when that is the main gameplay loop of the game. Worst thing about this game is the currency system. Only way to get money is through gambling. The developer wants me to sit on the slots which is most likely programmed to make me lose. And when you run out of money, you get some bum outside to give you another 10 bucks but you also have to wait an eternity for him to walk to you. Predatory gaming development practice at its finest. Stay away from this junk. I only finished this game for completion purposes to properly review it.
A very dedicated to remaster to the original. Leisure Suit Larry is an old school adventure game that follows the sad tales of a 40 year old virgin. Larry is looking for love. In order to try and find love you must solve puzzles a la old school Sierra days where puzzle solving takes a strange often illogical solution in order to move the game forward. The puzzles aren't exhausting in this game, they can be a bit more simple than most Sierra style games, but you can still die. Here at least, it just restarts you where you made the mistake. There is no more, you better have saved or else scenario like you would find yourself faced with back in the day. Those games were unforgiving. You still utilize the different icons such as the walk, look, take/use, zipper and tongue. The latter two make for some great narration though so make sure to take advantage of those icons. The music is similar to the original but remixed for today's standards, which is much better than the old school midi composition, but today's tunes in the Reloaded version still have the same themes, so it's a bit nostalgic. The graphics are very much cartoony with what appears to be handed painted scenes and animations. It all looks great for this type of game, since a photo realistic Larry would just be creepy and definitely more bordering on trying to feel like a porn game than a cheeky adventure game bout a guy trying to get laid. If you enjoyed the game from the past, this is not a bad way to revisit. Overall the storyline is funny, but not absolutely entertaining, and if you're into adventure/puzzle games, I will admit there are far better, but Larry....Larry is a classic brand of adventure game that I hope most people will remember 10-20 years from now and this game seriously helps to keep it alive.
