This game is addicting. It's seamless and relaxing and enjoyable to play. Definitely would recommend and hoping to get a full version to keep playing or play with friends.
Legitimate Space Corp Simulator LLC: Prologue is a funny little space station management game that puts me in the position of basically doing every job nobody else wants. Earth has been destroyed, I am the only human employee on a station in Sector 7 G, and somehow my solution is to run a questionable business instead of worrying too much about the end of humanity. I can run a shop, refuel ships, repair equipment, clean up rubbish and slowly turn the station into a better place. The whole thing has a silly sense of humour that fits the idea really well. What I like most is how many different jobs are packed into the basic loop. I am not just standing behind a shop counter waiting for customers. I have to order products, stock shelves, serve customers, refill fuel tanks and deal with damage to the station. I can also maintain the teleporter, build new station teleporters and upgrade areas such as the shop, hangars and fuel storage. I like having these different tasks because it gives me something to do instead of turning the game into a simple shop simulator. The station itself is also fun to work on. I can customise the shop and parts of the station while gradually making the place more useful. There is a greenhouse where I can grow alien crops, along with some stranger activities such as Lucky Gorblash and various human recreational items. I like the contrast between the normal management tasks and the ridiculous science fiction setting. Selling snacks and refuelling ships would already be enough for a small simulator, but having a teleporter that can apparently turn people into goop gives the whole thing more personality. The biggest problem for me is that this is still a Prologue, so I can feel that I am only getting an introduction to the bigger game. The systems are there and I can see where the full game could take the idea, but the experience naturally feels more limited than a complete management simulator. I also think some of the jobs can become repetitive because I am repeatedly moving products, cleaning, refuelling and repairing things. That is not necessarily bad for this type of game, but I need the upgrades and station building to keep giving me reasons to continue. I also think the humour will decide how much I enjoy this game. The entire concept is built around a company pretending to be legitimate while putting me in charge of a station full of questionable business practices. The jokes are everywhere, from the destroyed Earth backstory to the ridiculous job description and the strange products I am expected to deal with. I like that it does not take the simulator idea too seriously. It gives otherwise ordinary tasks like picking up rubbish or filling a fuel tank a bit more character. The free price is another big positive for me because I can try the Prologue without having to commit any money. It is also a single player game, so I can take my time and work through the station management without worrying about multiplayer systems. The presentation is fairly simple and stylised, but I think that suits the comedy and slightly ridiculous science fiction setting. There is also controller support and Steam achievement support, although the Prologue only has one achievement, so the progression side is clearly focused more on giving me a taste of the larger game than providing a huge completion challenge. Overall, Legitimate Space Corp Simulator LLC: Prologue is a fun start to what could become a much bigger space management game. I like the mixture of shop management, refuelling, repairs, station upgrades, alien farming and the ridiculous humour surrounding everything. The main thing holding it back is simply that it is a Prologue, so there is only so much depth and progression I can get before I reach the limits of what is included. Even with that restriction, I think the basic idea works very well and I would happily spend more time managing this weird little station if the full game expands on these systems properly.
