If it looks like a cash grab and it smells like a cash grab... It's got loot chests, a gold shop with a $100 option, "Rare" cards, an Energy system so you can pay to play, and a UI thats ugly as sin. All the hallmarks of a predatory mobile game hiding under its "Free to Play" tag. I've spent 100s of dollars on the paper version of Marvel Legendary and if this "free" game had a price tag with all the lootboxes and microtransactions cut out, I'd buy it. But then again, how can you make a fortune off of players with no impulse control if you don't have rEcuRrEnT SpEnDiNg? If you want a good deckbuilder, try Sentinels of the Multiverse, Ascension, Slay the Spire, Monster Train, Star Realms, or Pathfinder Adventures instead.

Marvel Legendary with fantasy characters in single player mode for free. What's not to like. You can unlock all the stuff by playing. The unlocks may take a while, but I expect I'll just buy them for $10 before long. In the meantime, what's not to like. It's free. It's fun. It's the same game as the Upper Deck Legendary boardgames--but on PC. Fun lunch diversion.
why does a card game have a stamina system? also why does a card game force you to buy new card packs just to beat the first level? just no.
Warning: Third Party Account This game requires you to create a third party "Upper Deck Account" account... there's no valid reason for this in a PC game when SteamWorks is available. This is often done to harvest private data and profile you, with potential sale and transmission of your private data to third parties. The developers will probably argue that you can trust them, but if they were trustworthy they wouldn't demand you create a third party account. This represents a considerable risk to gamers due to the privacy and security implications of developers that wish to bypass Steam and harvest user data. Remember, sometimes if the product is free, YOU are the product.

Warning: Microtransaction infested mobile app! This game is infested with a toxic mobile app style cash shop. You will be prompted to and expected to give money to the developers through this cash shop to buy in-game goods so you can play the game.
"Legendary DXP" is one of thousands of nasty mobile apps infesting the "free" section of Steam, but it's not really free. This mobile scam was a paid product on Steam (wow, paying up front for a mobile app just to get access to the toxic cash shop!). It was just a weak and poorly balanced Hearthstone ripoff where, you guessed it, the winner of each round is determined by who gives the most money to the developers. Disgusting, isn't it? There's only a superficial game here. The game visuals and the game itself are incredibly shallow... think of them as the too-bright, colourful, thin plastic cabinet dress theme on a poker machine at the casino. That's basically what this is. So really, the mobile app "game" is just a veneer, a thin skin wrapped around a nasty, predatory mobile app cash shop. Putting that toxic mobile app monetisation aside... this is a mobile app. I didn't spend thousands on a gaming PC so I could pretend it's an iPhone, and I don't think you did either... this kind of mobile app has no place in your Steam library. This game is fairly dated at 7 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. On the important matter of pricing and value for gamers, there's a lot going on here with monetisation, so this really shouldn't be considered a truly free product because of that. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $15 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. In terms of public reception, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? What's the verdict? Not on a bet. This might be "free", but I still feel like I got ripped off.
Muito bom
Legendary DXP is a digital re-skin of the hit Marvel deck building game created by Devin Low and produced by Upper Deck. Same cards, same text, same almost everything ... just new art! You can play this awesome game in digital format on Apple, Android, and Steam. Recruit Heroes, Defeat Villains, Conquer the Mastermind, Complete Quests and Campaigns, Compete Against Other Players, Join Forces with Other Players, Create Massive Combos, Save the World of Alamyth!
Great game to play in coop mode with friends. The only bad thing so far is the 2 min timer each turn. Get the starter pack at least. Edit: A couple of things are bringing the positive score further down: 1. The difficulty scaling in the campaign mode. I'm already unable to advance beyond second mission because of RNG and the amount of time wasted repeating it has soured my desire to play further. 2. The one hour timer between turns in single player/campaign mode. This means you can't pause the game have it continue at a later date.
For a free game, this is great. I love the variety in the cards and the villains. Plenty to see and enjoy here, and lots of options.
