The game follows a girl with a butterfly tattoo on her face. There is no information provided to you; you simply assume control of the girl on an abandoned street in the middle of the night. Something has happened, as cars are stacked up on the road, everything is dark, and no one can be seen anywhere. The gameplay fits an adventure game. Your objective is to explore the street and a few buildings in search of objects that will allow you to proceed. This usually entails locating some form of code for keypads, a key that frequently opens other doors, or an object. There are no logical mini-games or puzzles, and the only challenge is deciphering many safe codes from documents. Items are found laying around, marked with a faint glow, or in chests. However, until you discover a backpack, you will be unable to take everything because your pockets can only store small objects. There is no item management because items are used automatically when you interact with the right hotspot. Hotspots are not highlighted, but if you approach something important, a question mark will appear at the bottom of the screen. There are a few collectible items hidden around that reward exploration. One of them are documents with clues about puzzles, and the other are flowers. Each picked flower boosts your health by one. Although you can die by walking into shattered glass on the floor, staying under the rain for too long, or getting caught in one of the maze traps, there are numerous checkpoints throughout the game to ensure that you never lose progress or time. Because some require backtracking, the slow running speed may be a little frustrating. Another bothersome feature is the flashlight, which requires batteries to work. It is not critical because the game's overall brightness and highlighted items prevent aimless searching, but you may still miss documents and other less important items that are not highlighted. The game takes around two hours to finish, but you can spend on it a bit more to find all the collectibles, such as gems, flowers, and open all safes.
