Leafy Corner

It's a good game. My only criticism is for some reason it causes my Laptop heat up. Not sure why. When I quit the game, the computer cools down. This does not happen with the other apps I run on this computer.

Generally recommend, but with some caveats. It's pretty fun, especially at the early stages. Every thing is really well thought out, UX is well done, feels cute and cozy, not too stressful unless you want it to be, you could turn up the speed. Interacting with customers is pretty fun. Late game, it's a little less great, but still fun. Watering becomes really grindy. There's not enough space in the shop to use the cute bigger pots, so I had to standardize all my plants into the pots that take up less space. And after you've unlocked a lot of pots and plants, scrolling through the UX to find the one you want every time you want a new plant is pretty tedious. Hopefully the devs address these quality-of-life things going forward, because this really is a great game and I do not regret the purchase at all.

The Good: -Lots of amazing plants, with accurate Latin names and beautiful true-to-life graphics. I went to the plant nursery after playing this game and was amazed by how much I recognized because I played this game. That's really cool. -Fun cozy gaming loop up to the final unlockable level. You assist customers, take special orders, water and arrange plants, and then eventually propagate plants to make more of rare variegated varieties, etc. -Lots of pots and decor options for your shop. You can unlock and customize a lot, and the shop grows larger over time, which is satisfying. -An absurdly in-depth avatar customization feature for a game where your character literally doesn't move at all. You can make your shopkeeper look like you very easily. -It's fun to move plants around and arrange your furniture just so. -Discovering variegated varieties is fun and gives you a sense of accomplishment. The ennh: -After a while, the orders and customer requests become repetitive. I wish there were more. -You can't decorate or see the outside of the shop at all. This seems like a missed opportunity, given how often plant shops put plants on the sidewalk to entice shoppers, and how much customizability there is inside the shop. -There's no advertising, review, or staff system. Customers come in at a steady clip no matter what you do or don't do. There's no urgency to fulfilling their requests or waiting on them, either. These people are patient. -There's no day/night cycle. 24/7 plant shop, unless you manually close the store. -The shop feels too small even after you unlock all the expansions. It's hard to find space to carry all the plant types. -After a while, you're just making absurd amounts of money with nothing to spend it on, since your shop is full of decorations and there's nowhere else to go, no other challenges to fulfill. I liked the game enough that I rebooted and played another shop, but I wish there was more to the game overall.

Gioco rilassante, facile e molto carino esteticamente. Il gameplay è basico, adatto principalmente a chi adora le piante. Il lato negativo è la durata breve; una volta arrivato al livello massimo, non c'è più nessuno stimolo per giocarci.

Wonderful cozy game, relaxed pacing but it also feels a bit lacking once you end up with all achievements quickly too at its current state. I like the pot designs, the shelving and the plant options, I could still see them adding a few more varieties especially for succulents. Bear paws would be cute to see. I hope more challenging aspects are added down the line without making the mechanics an annoyance. The orders and requests don't feel overwhelming, which is nice. The art style and plant designs are pleasant, it's nice that you can propagate them, especially the variegated ones. Felt satisfying to fill half my shop with monstera constellations. It might also be cool to see a further shop expansion, one employee to hire for water with more space, maybe a minor billing system. It felt like I built up money easy and fast

I think it's a fun, affordable little game, and I thoroughly enjoyed playing it! But I'm going to echo the sentiments of some other players in that it just feels too bare boned. I was left wanting more after a pretty short playthrough, and was very surprised to reach the end of the goals so quickly. I was left going 'oh, is that all?' and without goals to reach I quickly lost interest. Once you reach level 6, which really only takes a day or two, there are no goals or rewards to keep you interested, there isn't enough space to reasonably unlock all the plants and include them in your store once you reach the 'sandbox' stage of the game, and it becomes quickly repetitve. I really think it would be worthwhile adding more than just 6 levels, adding more space and/or adding new elements to the game as it progresses (I saw someone suggest a later level where you can unlock flowers/arrangements and I think it's a wonderful idea).

В Общем - если включить Phonk и играть в данную игру, то 100-100. Также хотелось бы прийти, в цветочный магазин и спросить про те самые Арбузы. XD Но к сожалению, один минус есть... Это нельзя погладить котика. Печально что его только прогоняют. Fireline Games - Спасибо за игру!

While I think there could be QoL improvements (filter plant info by type, or attributes) and gameplay expansion (new layouts or maps; name your character or save or store) this is such a fun and cozy lil game. I love making my store over and over, changing my style. I also like honing in on a cozy-corner of plants and cycling through selling them and planting anew. Definitely suggest.
