Dodatek do gry z córką mega krótki, mało wnoszący wsm. Historia pato rodzinki i tyle wsm.
It was aight. Just to be clear on what type of horror game it is, it's mostly jumpscare based but several of them didn't land for me. There are barely any puzzles and it's primarily a walking sim where a lot of weird stuff happens. Kind of like a haunted house/fast food/lite version of the horror genre. Not very horror intense but kept me interested to finish the game in 1 sitting. I'd give it about a 6.75 or a 7 out of 10
FR/EN Layers of Fear
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3807365034
---FR---
Layers of Fear is a harrowing adventure that delivers a few jump scares along the way. You arrive at the house without quite knowing what lies ahead. At first, you are greeted by soft, welcoming music and tender words from your beloved scattered throughout the accessible rooms. As you progress, the messages found here and there gradually reveal an atmosphere far darker than the adventure's opening minutes. Then, suddenly, the music cuts out, giving way to the sound of rain and wind outside. The free exploration of the early moments shifts into a linear sequence of rooms with no turning back. You gradually descend into a dark world, with the soundscape fully immersing you in this macabre experience. Rain, wind, creaking floorboards—every sound accompanies you and deepens the atmosphere. Light becomes scarce, and the mood grows intensely oppressive. You must explore the mansion in search of fragments of the protagonist's past. These are categorized into family mementos (photos and written notes), echoes of the past (audio memories linked to specific objects), and rat sketches. Each collected item feeds into a scoring system that influences the game's ending. There are three possible endings, requiring multiple playthroughs to see them all. However, this is entirely optional; seeing all three endings is only necessary for those who wish to experience everything the game has to offer and unlock every achievement. The *Inheritance* DLC expands the adventure by letting you play as the main protagonist's daughter, who returns to her childhood home as an adult. She attempts to confront the demons of the past by exploring the house where she grew up. As with the base game, there are numerous objects to discover that will influence the adventure's conclusion. Ultimately, the game is a success, featuring dark, well-crafted graphics. You immerse yourself in an adventure to uncover a dark family past and get drawn into the madness consuming the house. The adventure takes about 5 to 10 hours to complete if you take the time to find every hidden object; however, it will take significantly longer if you want to unlock all the achievements and experience every possible ending. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3807365261
always been one of my favorite horror experiences from when i was younger.. i feel like it scratches the silent hill pt itch that ppl had around that time. for a ~mostly walking sim game it has really good writing and scary moments and the dlc is gut wrenching anyways i would play it
🔰 Einstieg
💶 Preis
Ich habe „Layers of Fear“ kostenlos erhalten.
💚 Fazit
This game is a hoot. I really enjoyed exploring and staring at random weird stuff... All the while wishing I could go outside and just frolic in the heavy rain. The game may not have let me go out, but...! It made me laugh really hard. I *especially* love the dolls. They are hilarious. That corridor/room with them running into items? That was the best. Loved it. I also love the rats. Super destructive. Ah and the game reminded me of the "The Room" games... I swear that Null was the one who ate that chair... >.> I wouldn't be surprised if it started off here first. That said. Story was tragic. If I could feel anything that is. I obviously got the worst ending. That's my specialty after all. But you know what? I am keeping it. Sure there is a... "Better" one...? If you can call it that... But I'll let the MC loop a few more times. Maybe he'll learn his lesson. Maybe not. Does it even matter anymore? Good game. Good fun. Great laughter.
Absolute cinema, one of my new favorite horror games. Gets so many things right that so many miss the mark on. Great story, pacing, sound design, attention to detail, the whole shebang. Reminded me a lot of Amnesia: The Dark Descent.
