Information / Review English
Lawnmower game UFO Chase 2 is a small racing simulation game developed by Valkeala Software.
Gameplay / Story
Have you always wanted to drive a lawnmower? Then read on, because this game makes it possible. In this installment of the series, your task is once again to mow the grass in the levels with your lawnmower, with the number of blades varying. However, it's not that simple, as all sorts of obstacles on the track, such as parked cars, make your joyride more difficult. But that's not the only problem, because a UFO is chasing you. Well-equipped with lasers, missiles, and a laser barrier, the AI is merciless. Driving in a zigzag pattern can save you if you time it right. When you see a flag at the end, you've reached the finish line and the level is complete. So, have fun mowing the lawn and good luck!
Pros
+ Skill/Physics Test Simulation + Colorful/Atmospheric Graphics + Atmospheric Background Music + Many Levels to Choose From + Good Controls + Good Value for Money + Achievements
Cons
- Some Levels Are Difficult to Complete
Conclusion
Lawnmower game UFO Chase 2 once again offers you a fun little skill-based racer that will put your abilities to the test. Here you can find more positive reviews from others and me, and if you liked the review, we would appreciate a thumbs up.

Information / Review Deutsch
Pro
+ Fähig/Physiktest Simulation + bunte/stimmige Grafik + stimmungsvolle Musikuntermalung + viele Level stehen zur Auswahl + gute Steuerung + passendes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis + Errungenschaften
Kontra
- einzelne Level teils schwer abzuschließen
Fazit
shear and run! oh. what. fun. :D is really easily short and so hilarious. if you wanna shearing'em all grass for gettin’ all three stars, is a true and really hard challenge. conclusion: i highly recommend you if you wanna a some fun for little time, before you get to work or something:)
Another lawnmower game with a little different spin, instead of mowing lawns you're now escaping lasers and flying rockets. It's still fun nonetheless. Sucks the menu is broken when you want to select the last few levels, even if you have enough stars the game doesn't let you play them, you need to replay the previous level and then click continue, that's the only way to progress.
👑 ᴋᴜʀᴀᴛᴏʀᴘʀᴏғɪʟᴇ 1 (ʀᴇᴢᴇɴsɪᴏɴᴇɴ: 1 ʙɪs 2000) 👑 ᴋᴜʀᴀᴛᴏʀᴘʀᴏғɪʟᴇ 2 (ʀᴇᴢᴇɴsɪᴏɴᴇɴ: 2001 ʙɪs 4000) 👑 ᴋᴜʀᴀᴛᴏʀᴘʀᴏғɪʟᴇ 3 (ʀᴇᴢᴇɴsɪᴏɴᴇɴ: 4001 ʙɪs 6000)
Lawnmower Game UFU Chase 2 is a third person driving game. This game has so many hazards it can be a real challenge to make any progress. The levels are geared towards getting a level mowed which gives stars. The stars can then access new levels. This game is difficult and very fast paced. I played this on my Dell XPS 9570 with GTX 1050 Ti Max Q graphics.

This seems to be the strangest game in my library. No, definitely! It's the strangest game on Steam. Bad graphics, very weak gameplay... Yes, it's cheap and fun to play (if you also like broken games). haha
Lawnmower game Ufo Chase 2 is an unapologetically strange indie sequel that doubles down on a premise so simple and absurd it becomes its defining charm. Developed and published by Valkeala Software, the game once again drops you behind the wheel of a lawnmower trapped in compact arenas where the act of mowing grass becomes a constant fight for survival. What could have been a throwaway joke concept instead becomes a surprisingly tense arcade experience, with every turn of the mower shadowed by a UFO hunting you from above. The core gameplay loop centers on mowing a high percentage of grass per level while evading destruction at the UFO’s hands. The alien craft relentlessly stalks the player, firing rockets, lasers, and other hazards that punish hesitation and poor positioning. Unlike traditional lawn-mowing simulators that emphasize calm, methodical movement, Ufo Chase 2 thrives on pressure. You’re constantly weighing efficiency against safety: a risky route might clear more grass faster, but a single mistake can mean instant failure and a restart. This balance between speed, precision, and evasion gives the game an arcade-like intensity that keeps sessions engaging, even when short. Level design is compact and deliberately constrained, encouraging repeated attempts and mastery over casual progression. Each stage introduces environmental obstacles such as narrow pathways, moving objects, or quirky props that force you to rethink mowing patterns. The star-based progression system reinforces this design philosophy by locking later levels behind performance thresholds, nudging players to replay earlier stages and refine their routes. While this structure adds replay value for fans of optimization and high-score chasing, it can feel unforgiving to those less patient with repetition, especially when the UFO’s attacks leave little room for error. Visually, the game adopts a simple, colorful 3D style that prioritizes readability. The environments are clean and functional, making it easy to track remaining grass and incoming threats even amid chaos. While the visuals aren’t technically impressive, they fit the game’s tone, imparting a playful, toy-like quality that complements its arcade roots. That said, the minimalist presentation can become repetitive over time, as many levels share a similar visual language despite differing layouts. The mower handling is intentionally awkward, giving movement a slippery, momentum-based feel. This design choice adds to the challenge, as precise control takes time to master and mistakes are costly. For some players, mastering the quirk becomes part of the fun, turning each successful run into a small triumph. For others, the same mechanics may feel frustrating or imprecise, particularly in later stages where hazards are more aggressive and margins for error shrink. Audio design is modest but serviceable, with sound effects that clearly communicate danger and movement without overwhelming the player. Music maintains tension without becoming distracting. While nothing in the soundtrack stands out as particularly memorable, it supports the game’s fast-paced rhythm and reinforces the sense of constant pursuit. The overall presentation reads as utilitarian rather than expressive, but it aligns with the game’s focus on gameplay over atmosphere. As a sequel, Lawnmower game Ufo Chase 2 doesn’t radically reinvent the formula, but it refines and reinforces what made the concept work in the first place. It embraces its niche identity as a small, challenging, and slightly absurd indie title that rewards persistence and skill. Players seeking deep systems, narrative depth, or visual spectacle will likely dismiss its simplicity, but those who enjoy quirky arcade challenges and repetition-driven mastery may find it oddly compelling. In the end, the game succeeds because it knows what it is. It doesn’t pretend to be more than a focused, pressure-filled lawn-mowing survival challenge, and it commits fully to that idea. Ufo Chase 2 is best enjoyed in short bursts, where its tension, humor, and demanding design can shine without overstaying their welcome. For fans of unconventional indie games that value challenge and novelty over polish, it offers a distinctive experience that stands out in Steam’s crowded landscape, even if it remains firmly in the realm of cult appeal rather than broad mainstream success.
