Landlord of the Woods is a short puzzle game, with a mild horror ambience. The main character is having a mid-life crisis about his - its? - work and purpose, so he - it? - leaps at the opportunity to become the rent-collecting Lord of the Woods. Each of five very odd tenants must pay what they owe (a strange collection of objects) but only when the Landlord fulfils an equally strange contract obligation to them. The art style is reminiscent of the Rusty Lake and Forgotten Hill games, but with a more simplified level of detail. The puzzles are not difficult and many are manipulative e.g. moving objects to extract them or match them to a template. Overall, an entertaining and macabrely attractive game, and reasonable value for money (1 hour's play time for UK £0.89 in my case). And the moral of the tale - perhaps "the grass may not be greener - but very likely redder - on the other side of the hill", or "there's another - and sharper - meaning of the word 'rent'..."

Creepy, spooky sometimes yucky, with the best ending for a landlord. Surprising and enjoyable. I recommend !

I really enjoy everything this developer puts out. They have an odd collection of creepy, yet cozy, titles. Landlord of the Woods is everything you look for in a short point and click game. It's calm, mindless gameplay (in the best way).

Landlord of the woods is the perfect game for all people fps fan I shot a man to death while playing this game it want technically in the game but I did it puzzles well it's a puzzle game horror well lucky for you there's at least one woman in this game I think I can't really tell because everyone you talk to looks like a van gogh painting but it's a safe bet this game saved my marriage and cucked me at the same time thank you landlord of the woods

画风很有特色，解谜过程比较轻松解压，剧情和文案都很有思辨性，唯一美中不足的是没有中文版，不过影响不大，值得一玩。
