NSFW guide to the excitements of modern life through the filter of the middle ages and religious travesties - all in good fun, in whimsical art style, and no holds barred when it comes to humor.
funny
It's a more lewd, blasphemous, fart joke-riddled version of "The Procession to Calvary." It's fun if you're into that kind of humor and some mildly difficult puzzle solving.
The humour sometimes veered into tired sexist territory, which sucked. On the whole though this game definitely achieves its aims of being a monty python meets procession to calvary mashup.
Ok I think my sense of humour is quiet broken because I was laughing during the whole game! The one drawback is that it was too short!
If Monkey Island and Monthy Python had a baby then this game would probably be the result!A fun and often hilarious comedy adventure game starring Lancelot as you've never seen him before! The puzzles are logical with no moonlogic thankfully although they are generally on the easy side. I would have liked some voice acting but the dialogue clearly distinguishes the characters apart. The dialogue is also funny throughout with some clever modern as well as some historical references. Some of the humour can also be a little crude but I never found it offensive. The Art style was also unique which I loved. First two thirds I enjoyed more as last third of game was more linear and slightly less interactive. The game was also a little short at about three hours but overall the game was very enjoyable and highly recommended! Thumbs up! Lancelot’s Hanger: The Quest for the Holy Booze is a silly and weird game that will cause a few laughs along the way. It’s not a high-end game that will impress you, but it’s a fun little game that’ll keep you busy for a few hours. Besides the laughs, you’ll have to use your brain, or just brainlessly try everything (like I did). However, for the current price tag, I wouldn't buy it myself. Maybe buy it during a sale if you’re into silly point and click adventures, though! Extremely funny.
at first it looks similar to joe richardson's games, except it turns out to be a low IQ, bad humor, bad graphics, bad music, bad everything version of them. satire is great when done well. crude, lame humor is always hard pass material. refunded.
Funny and engaging with just the right amount of dirty. 3 hours of sexy miscreant adventuring accompanied by only the freshest bangers from 1350. If you don't take games too seriously, this one's for you.
