This game is good...scary. I like that there are backstories to every character, the AI painted art is pretty cool and fitting, the story is interesting, and there are multiple endings and lots of choices and achievements. No plotholes which is great for a story like this. But is this related to something real? Also I wish this was longer but great value and a good length in my opinion. I think I am the first to review it but well done! I really loved the story, music, and graphics. The main girl is relatable to anybody who has experienced depression even though I don't know about any evil spirits haunting people but anything is possible right? This is also really interesting by the way. 10/10!
The plot revolves around Maya, a woman living in a lifeless and dreary world. It always rains, there are dead spirits among the living, and Maya's life is stuck in the deepest depression. It all started when her mother died in an accident, and since then Maya has been feeling sorry for herself, failing at everything she tries, and her only friend is Daniel, whom she treats like trash. But on the anniversary of her mother's death, odd things begin to happen. She receives a warning that something is approaching and she is in danger, and her friend is possessed by someone or something. The game is rather short, but a few decisions you make during the game result in one of eight endings. Although you can save at any moment, this function is absolutely pointless because the game does not support loading. You must replay the entire game from the beginning each time. While you can skip all text you already saw before, it's stil a hassle to get all endings and achievements because you have to click the right choices each time. Art is mostly AI with a few special effects such as rain and fog.
