Reviews
The developer has threatened a Gaming Web site with lawsuits and a spurious DMCA Take down threat over their negative critique of this game. https://youtu.be/5uGgVmqbT0E The game itself is an absolute insult at a $20 price point. It is so exceptionally basic that it would barely be considered a mediocre free offering on Newgrounds or Itch.io. Avoid this game and it's developer.
*** RE-REVIEW UPDATE ON JULY 3, 2021 *** The developer reached out to me via email and asked me to re-review this game after his updates and "big update 3.0", so I decided to give his game another chance considering the number of updates this game has seen since my first review more than a year ago... This video shows my reactions to the current state of this game on July 3rd of 2021: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJuxnSS8ZxM --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ORIGINAL REVIEW UN-ALTERED FROM JUNE 15, 2020: * Sighs * ... This review exists for only one reason.. the developer of this game showed extreme hostility towards his first single review that was a negative review of his game. It's important to note that this developer reached out to Christ Centered Gamer and provided them with a Steam key asking for a review. When Christ Centered Gamer agreed and made a very professional and honest review that was not a good review, the developer of this game attacked him with a fury of angry emails, legal threats, insults and more. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXc_ac-0lSg This is absolutely one of the worst games I've ever played on Steam, and for the asking price of $20 USD at launch of the game, it is the absolute worst $20 game I've ever experienced in my life. I have .4 hours of playtime in this game, which equates to about 24 minutes. It's important to note that at least 15 of those minutes were spent just trying to get the game started and then turning down the outrageously default sounds and music. In the end, I had to turn down the game sounds and music via my recording software as nothing I tried worked to actually turn the music and sound down from within the game options. Horrid controls, lackluster and brainless gameplay that turn incredibly boring within 60 seconds and would make this game a waste of time even if were free to play. In the end, I scored this game at a dismal 1% score and it is NOT RECOMMENDED AT ANY COST, EVEN FREE!

In all honesty and good faith I cannot recommend this game, as I didn't enjoy it at all, and I believe that even for a tenth of its price you could buy a better game. If you want you can watch my first impression and some considerations regarding the game and the studio (one man team) in the following video. https://youtu.be/66hqI4P99lQ I think everyone should also take into consideration the statement released by the developer on June 22nd, date that follows the production of my video, where I point out things that were then addressed by Cenokga in the following statement: https://cenokga.com/my-experience-after-first-game-release-a-letter-from-the-developer/
░░░░░░░░░░░░▄▄▄██████████▄▄▄░░░░░░░░░░░░ ░░░░░░░░░▄████▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀████▄░░░░░░░░░ ░░░░░░▄███▀▀░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░▀▀███▄░░░░░░ ░░░░▄███▀░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░▀███▄░░░░ ░░░▄██▀░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░▀██▄░░░ ░░███░░░░░░▄▄█▄▄░░░░░░░░▄▄█▄▄░░░░░░███░░ ░███░░░░░░▄██████░░░░░░██████▄░░░░░░███░ ▄██░░░░░░░░█████▀░░░░░░▀█████░░░░░░░░██▄ ███░░░░░░░░░▀▀▀░░░░░░░░░░▀▀▀░░░░░░░░░███ ███░░░░░░░░░░░░░▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄░░░░░░░░░░░░░███ ███░░░░░░░░░▄▄████████████▄▄░░░░░░░░░███ ███░░░░░░░░███▀▀▀░░░░░░▀▀▀███░░░░░░░░███ ▀██░░░░░░▄██▀░░░░░░░░░░░░░░▀██▄░░░░░░██▀ ░███░░░░░██░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░██░░░░░███░ ░░███░░░██░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░██░░░███░░ ░░░▀██▄░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░▄██▀░░░ ░░░░▀███▄░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░▄███▀░░░░ ░░░░░░▀███▄▄░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░▄▄███▀░░░░░░ ░░░░░░░░░▀████▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄████▀░░░░░░░░░ ░░░░░░░░░░░▀▀▀████████████▀▀▀░░░░░░░░░░░

💜This game was gifted to Catizens Curations for review. Font is difficult to read, controls are not adjustable, F12/screenshot does not work, bland repetitive game without a decent story. 💜Nora

Ужасно. Более древние подобные игры куда лучше.
Kowi Ishto: Akonoli Savaşı, 16 bitten ilham alan, Aksiyon Paketli, Arcade Stilinde, Uzay Shooter oyunudur.
"Kowi Ishto: Battle of Akonoli" is a laughably bad, amateurish attempt at a shoot 'em up, with pixel graphics so bad they don't even look authentic. This is incredibly incompetent. It is unfun to play, barely works, and looks hideous. Items like achievements and so on are also broken. There are reliable accounts of the developers trying to use copyright strikes and DMCA takedowns to silence valid criticism of this non-free software. This feels like a tech demo or a project smacked together to make a minimum viable product to pass the developer's idea and shove it into Steam Direct to see if you can publish junk through Steam Direct. They can, but is it good for gamers? No. This features poor pixel art instead of real graphics. This looks much worse than other games because of that decision, which is a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. This game is five years old, and back then it looked old and busted compared to professional 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then and looks worse now. It was made with "GameMaker Studio," a toolset popular among amateurs because it helps you make 2D games you can publish for $100 on Steam Direct. GameMaker Studio has never been used to make a truly successful game. It is a bad engine only used for low quality 2D products like this. You cannot make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. This is another reason the game failed. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. There is no initial download price, but the developer was charging $10 USD for this. Price barriers on low quality products can be a cause of failure. It seems like a gesture for the game to have no up-front cost, but it also tells us that the game was not good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is a slap in the face to anyone who paid money for this. No one got a refund. Furthermore, the developer has their hand out for a $8 USD "donation" for soundtrack DLC (already in the game) from Steam to "support" the "developer." Digital panhandling. No thanks. In terms of public reception, this failed. Steam has over 130 million unique gamers visiting every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 2 concurrent players. This is a dismal public reception. They could not even give it away. Given that this free title does not increase your game collector count, is it worth your time? No. Even with no up front cost, I feel ripped off. That is how bad this is.
Developer Response!
The developer has weighed in to inform everyone they didn't read the Developer Usage Rules for Steam "partners," or they deliberately ignored the part where Valve says:
Though it may be tempting, not every review needs to be responded to. A developer response will frequently draw more attention than the original statement, potentially turning a small issue into a much larger community discussion. It's also not a good idea to use this feature to refute customer opinions. Your direct attention can be seen as validation or a defensive attempt to silence your customers.
The developer breach of guidelines here is an arrogant attack on reviewers that must be taken in the context of his failure. SteamDB does not lie, this peaked at only 2 players. Utter failure, the result of an incompetent developer. The developer's lies and dishonesty here in this breach of guidelines tell us why this failed. My review clearly indicates the areas where the game is broken, but the developer DEMANDS that I work for him as an unpaid tester. It is the responsibility of the developer to conduct software testing. You can see the developer ARROGANTLY demanding gamers do his job for him. Appalling. The toxic developer acknowledges they used DMCA and censorship to attack reviewers, but quickly try to sweep it under the rug. They have done so in the past, and there is no reason to believe they won't continue this pattern of hostility towards gamers. They were quick to disregard Valve's guidelines to attack this reviewer with lies. The developer chooses to attack the review by failing to acknowledge the reason they used pixel art instead of arranging contemporary visuals. We know if they were capable of doing better, they would. Pixel art is always explained by developers as an "artistic" decision. We know for a fact if they could make a game with visuals like Hellblade 2 or Black Myth Wukong, they would! This is an insult, an inadequacy that should not be a problem for gamers to have to put up with. Developers like this give amateur devs a bad name. The developer takes an appalling approach by DEMANDING that I enable comments on this review. This is a disgusting position to take. My review is a statement of opinion backed by fact, but because the developer is incapable of emotionally coping with failure (as supported by the SteamDB data), he demands that it should be publicly debated! This is not a "court of public opinion," it is a review that describes the product, the defects, and explains why it was garbage nobody wanted. The developer cannot handle his failure and insists he should be able to argue with the facts. Unhealthy psychological denial. The developer tries to tell us that because they are currently charging money for this garbage, they are not because perhaps one day they might stop. You can see the twisted reasoning used to hide the facts from gamers. This is currently a paid product, the expectation is that you will buy the soundtrack for this garbage game, and if you don't, he will hit you with a DMCA for telling the truth. The developer DEMANDS that the game engine HE CHOSE DELIBERATELY that is responsible for some of the deficiencies in a product CANNOT be mentioned in a review. Why? The developer supplies no reason, but this fits with his pattern to attempt to prevent gamers from discussing the truth about this garbage. Attacking the reviewer for his choice of engine fits with this pattern of toxicity. Finally the developer DEMANDS that gamers must never write reviews unless they help him personally learn how to develop games. This is an egocentric position. Reviews are not written for developers, they are written for gamers to help them find good products and avoid garbage from toxic developers. Nothing in the developers pointless breach of Valve guidelines changes any of the facts of my review. My review stands. I cannot recommend this garbage to anyone. Edit: The developer supplies a rambling word salad that doubles down on their toxic behavior, once more highlighting their use of DMCA to attempt to censor reviews warning gamers about this product. Indeed, it seems the developer doesn't bother doing any game development at all, and instead spends 24 hours a day shaking with rage at game reviews that remind him of the many reasons he is a failure, as evidenced by the reception of this garbage. Only 2 players. And look at the unhinged, insane hostility from this "developer". Gamers, avoid bad actors in the industry like this failed megalomaniac.
