A retro open world RPG, farming sim, and dungeon crawler. Knightblade is best described as an open world fantasy game mixed with farming and life sim elements, as if it were made in the golden age of video games. Create your character, and explore the sandbox while solving a mystery.

A game that uses unoriginal assets and stock music with only 2 hours of gameplay and a pitiful story. This game should be free.
The fact that this game describes itself as 'open world' is laughable. It's a linear hamfisted dungeon crawl, where you kill an arbitrary number of randomly spawned enemies to advance. The 'life sim' elements such as farming and romance are the absolute bare minimum - yes there's a 'farm', but you don't manage it in any way, it might as well spit 15 carrots into your inventory every morning. I bought this game on the promise of depth, but by the end I felt I'd been tricked into running full tilt into a wall, Will E. Coyote style.
The developer of this game is a con artist. He made a game in RPG Maker and promised future DLC releases and content updates. None of that happened. His excuse? He's working on other new games! And even better yet - he's asking people for donations to support his NEW GAME development in the community tab of this game! Yikes bro. Maybe live up to your promises to the people who gave you their money for THIS game? Don't support a scam artist.
WAY too short for actually to be called a game. more like an experiment project playing around rpg maker mv. for my play time i fall asleep halfway , actual playthrough was around 90min
solid game mechanics, dialogue could be more concise tho
a brilliant throwback to the great style of gaming I grew up with its a mesh of Zelda and D&D explore villages fight monsters and be the hero, what more could you want
Fun little retro dungeon crawler. Definitely recommend!
I've only played an hour or so due to time constraints - but I'm really enjoying it and getting awesome old school RPG vibes. The creator is very active, updates roll in and there seems to be a great community building. it's basically Zelda meets D&D meets old school gameboy pokemon style battles, minus the pokemon! Great fun.
This game shows that a single developer can deliver a really nice game made in RPG Maker. The developer really made an outstanding work, creating a well balanced game with a nice story. The game consist mainly of a linear main quest, with some side quest and world exploration, not needed to finish the game but adds a lot. The maps are good enough for what the developer wants to show, it could use a little bit more of fine tuning but overall the developer did a great job. The game takes about two hours to finish if you don't do any exploration or side quest, which in my opinion is impressive for this kind of games. The game is very polished, I didn't found bugs or anything that could break the game. The developer even added some minigames and other options that expand and shows how much he was committed to this game. I believed if you are an indie developer, and wants to develop a game using this engine, this game is worth to take a look as an example of what can be made by a single person. And also, for the price, this is a nice game to play.
Great game to play if you looking for a relaxing time with a traditional RPG. It has your regular RPG battle system but the exploration is great! I played the wizard and i had quite a few different spells which was nice. Unfortunately it doesn't look like an element system has been implemented yet but with free DLC for life there is plenty of time to add it in there. The magic animations are really nice. I see the game get constant updates as well which is amazing. And the color/style filter options are top tier. Can wait to see how the game progresses!
