Kneedle Knight

[th]⭐Juego gratuito⭐[/th]

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⡎⠑⡄ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⢸⠀⠀⠸⡀⠀⠀⠀⣠⠴⡲⠛⠉⠉⠓⠲⣄ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⢸⠀⠀⠀⣇⡴⢠⠞⢁⠞⠒⠒⠤⠀⠀⠀⠈⢳ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠈⡆⠰⣄⣹⢠⠃⠀⠸⡄⠀⠀⠀⠱⠀⠀⠀⠈⡇⠀⠀⢀⣠⠄ ⠀⠀⠀⣀⡴⠚⠉⠉⠉⠓⠙⠊⠂⠀⠀⡃⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⢠⠇⣠⢶⠟⠁ ⣠⠶⡚⠉⠀⠀⠀⠀⣀⡀⠀⠀⠀⠀⡚⠁⠀⠀⡄⠀⠀⠀⢠⠞⡰⢡⠏ ⢷⠔⠁⠀⠀⠀⠀⡎⠁⣹⡆⠀⠀⠀⠘⡖⠤⢤⡿⣄⠤⠞⠁⢰⠃⡟ ⠘⣦⠀⢠⠠⡀⠀⠙⠿⠔⠁⠀⠀⠀⠀⢸⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⣼⠀⡇ ⠀⠈⠳⣄⣧⠙⢆⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⣠⠞⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⡿⠀⣇ ⠀⠀⠀⠈⣻⢦⢈⢧⠀⠀⠀⠀⠐⠉⢡⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⡇⠀⣿ ⠀⠀⠀⢀⠏⣸⠀⠈⠆⡀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠈⠳⣄⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⣸⠁⠀⣿ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⢰⠃⢠⠀⡴⠁⠀⠀⡆⠀⠀⠀⠈⠳⣄⣀⣠⠞⠁⠀⣰⠃ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠘⢶⣹⢠⡧⡀⢀⡼⠁⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠈⠻⡀⠀⢀⡴⠃ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⢀⡏⠀⠈⠷⠗⡟⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⢳⠴⠋ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠸⣆⠀⢄⠀⠀⡇⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⢀⡞ ⠀⠀⠀⢀⣴⠋⡛⠲⢵⣦⣽⣦⣀⣀⠀⢀⣀⣠⠴⠋ ⠀⠀⠀⠈⠙⠒⠓⠒⠉⢸⣕⣠⣈⡭⠝⠋⠁

By far the best game I ever played from SMU students so far. Nothing to criticize tbh. Game is simply awesome. Amazing art, amazing music, great level design, bug free programming. Decent replayability through achievements. They even want you to watch the story, I never understood people who skip the cutscenes anyway. What else do you need in a good game? I wish the developers great success in their careers. I am not going to wish luck because with your skills and talents you guys won't need any luck.
鼠鼠我啊,也是个骑士呢
It's just boring. Reminds me of PS2 era random 3D platformers based on Disney movies. Too much waiting on moving platforms. The gimmick adds nothing past the 2D in a 3D game schtick. Graphics are typical UE engine lookalike. It's polished enough but not fun for me to bother going past the first level in which I skipped getting the cheese collectibles halfway through the level.
还行,就是好暗
Kneedle Knight is a good try because it's a short game for fun. However, the controls don't work smoothly, it lags a bit if you play with the best graphic quality and there are bugs.

画面太黑了,而且游戏设置里面没有调节画面明暗的设置,看不见自己做的魔法布,容易跳空,没法玩
"Kneedle Knight" is one of literally thousands of student projects infesting Steam. It's from the Methodists at the SMU Guildhall in the USA. While student projects tend to be better quality than most "amateur" made games, we must still question what value such projects have for gamers. As with all student projects, this isn't really a fully fleshed out game, it's just the result of an academic exercise, and as such it has much more limited value as a game than a professionally developed game would have. Educational institutions should not be using Steam as a dumping ground for homework assignments (especially if the students didn't even pass the course). Sure, it helps their marketing and helps the students feel good about themselves, but this is another case of a business putting themselves before the needs of gamers. The students didn't do too badly here, they made a third person action/puzzle platformer with a charming Disney style anthropomorphic cartoon mouse, and a gimmick around sewing fabric with a magical needle-sword. This gimmick is fundamental to solving some of the puzzles in the game... heck, if this was an actual game product and not an unfinished student project, it might even be recommendable. However, it's a student project... so it's unfinished, and it's clunky as all hell, seriously needing post production polish and game testing. There's also some critical bugs in the game that will never be fixed. The students have walked away, and there's absolutely no motivation for them to maintain this after they got their grades. See why I say student projects are such a problem? The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. It would be unethical for students to try charge money for their homework assignments, so you don't have to pay any money for this. But you'd still have to spend your time downloading this, and "time is money", as they say. There's the other problem, too... as a student project, this wasn't made for gamers. There's no requirement for them to polish and balance the game properly, all they need is something to show the faculty so they can get their grade and move on. Let's once more ask... why is that good for gamers? It's obviously not delivering a solid product. Yet here it is, on the store page, and here you are, reading my review for a student demo that's going to waste your time. While genuine amateur developers who made real products get ignored because they have to compete with this stuff. In some ways, this deluge of student projects on Steam is harmful to everyone. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's well over 130 million gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at less than 100 concurrent players, they couldn't even break three figures, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Since free games don't contribute to your game collector badge and other profile stuff, is this a worthwhile addition to your Steam library? This is a "maybe" experience... if you have a lot of free time on your hands and nothing else to do, why not? But for the purposes of a review, this isn't something I can say everyone must try. It's not quite there. Valve doesn't give us a "maybe" option in reviews, but if they did, that's what I'd choose for this.
