KIYO - Bunny Tyranny

I am quite early on in the game but I am loving it so far. The atmosphere is great, the music perfectly fits the mood, and I like that the game encourages you to approach encounters through stealth. Highly recommended!

The graphics are nothing less then artwork with really stunning episodes. Besides that what I like most in this game is the satirical parody. It shows you a mirror of the crazy world we are living in. There are plenty of subtle and hilarious jokes like in the very beginning yet we see an advertisement for bunny tail fashion. I love it and only played for a couple of hours yet, recommended !

Hay juegos que destacan por su jugabilidad, otros por su apartado visual y algunos por la historia que quieren contar. KIYO - Bunny Tyranny consigue equilibrar un poco de todo, pero lo que más me sorprendió fue la forma en que rompe la cuarta pared. No se siente como un recurso metido a la fuerza; al contrario, está tan bien integrado que hace que te involucres más con lo que está ocurriendo y consigue sacarte más de una sonrisa o dejarte pensando en algunos momentos. La historia fue otro de los aspectos que más disfruté. Sin entrar en spoilers, sabe mantener el interés de principio a fin y logra transmitir su personalidad de una forma muy particular. A esto se suma un diseño artístico con mucha identidad, tanto en los personajes como en los escenarios, que ayuda a crear una atmósfera muy agradable y memorable. En cuanto a la jugabilidad, las mecánicas son fáciles de aprender y están bien implementadas. No buscan ser excesivamente complejas, sino complementar la narrativa y mantener un ritmo constante durante toda la experiencia, algo que creo que consiguen bastante bien. Si tuviera que mencionar un punto a mejorar, diría que en algunos momentos el juego puede sentirse un poco lineal y me habría gustado que algunas mecánicas tuvieran un poco más de profundidad para ofrecer aún más variedad. Sin embargo, esto no afecta de manera importante la experiencia.

This game combines polished stealth mechanics with a world that is full of mystery and charm. It blends a dystopian universe with endearing characters and cunning humour. I love the neo-noir aesthetics (very reminiscent of Blade Runner), the lighting effects (which are functional to the stealth gameplay) and the upbeat soundtrack.

Really nice music and graphics, and the intro and theme are very cachy. I played the demo but the intro of the full game is already different. I am looking forward to playing the rest of the game!! Very curious about the story as well. For the vibe alone I would play it, So you should definitely try it, whoever is reading this review! Also there is some stuff you need to think about how to solve it, some puzzles and stuff. Nice game mechanics as well.

I've had the chance to playtest Kiyo during its development, and it's been amazing to watch it grow into such a polished game. The developers have done a fantastic job bringing their vision to life. Kiyo has a wonderfully intriguing atmosphere, a delightfully weird story, fun platforming gameplay, and an excellent soundtrack. It blends cuteness with horror, something you don't see often, and it works really well. If you're a fan of adventure platformers, you should absolutely give Kiyo a try.

Kiyo is a great game, the worldbuilding is really cool and makes it feel unique and even if they're the enemies the bunnies are still cute. The graphics have a cool style that fits the game perfectly. I also like the small details like being able to pet some of the cats, and all the little details in the world design. After completing the first few parts, I just want to get on and continue the story. The gameplay itself feels smooth and is pretty intuitive, definitely one you can pick up easily and definitely worth it. Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys platformers, creative and surreal worldbuilding, or just cute evil bunnies!

Such a cute and fun game with a really interesting atmosphere that pulls you in. Amazing and unique artstyle with so much enjoyable details. Love it!
