For reference, I played via controller. This combat is legitimately bad on nearly aspect. I quit. I got to Bernard and while I was STARTING to understand how to fight, this Hans guy shows up, and ruined the entire thing. I legitimately didn't get a archery tutorial before this stupid moron wouldn't leave me alone. There was no explanation of how to even aim arrows or that I'm supposed to release arrows after drawing it back IMMEDIATELY or it becomes inaccurate. And I'm expected to compete with some random Nobleman? Then after I manage to beat him (because I googled how to properly do archery, a bad sign) this idiot makes me fight in the arena again, and I just got tired of it. I don't want to engage with this guy, I came to learn combat, not deal with some silver spoon moron. There was no way to just tell him no. No speech methods or any other skill outside of combat. I quit halfway through the fight after he kept jank damaging me (I'd block, then he'd do some weird jank and I'd take damage anyway at full stamina, and after I got multiple hits on him, his health bar hadn't moved, because they weren't multiple in a row? Meanwhile he got a single hit on me, and my bar goes down, even if I had stamina. Enemies appear to have unlimited stamina, which apparently also acts as armor for them, but not for me. Feinting legitimately stopped working outside of Bernard. Half the time, when they follow up on attacks, the green shield icon doesn't even appear to TRY to block it. When it does, and I could block, they block my attack anyway. What's the point of this? Dodging doesn't work on a controller. Give me a button or screw off. I legitimately don't care if it's realistic, a regular guy would NOT be winded after swinging a sword a few times like Henry does. Meanwhile the NPCs are NEVER winded. I cannot recommend this game. While I understand they were trying to be 'realistic', I legitimately feel like I got punished for GOING TO A TUTORIAL. I legitimately had a easier time in Souls games.
Кривее этой игры только ♥♥♥ Вавры
Yes. Buy it, it's that good. Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an experience. My favorite game is still, and will likely be for some time, Red Dead Redemption 2, but this is a very close second. The number of things to do, to see, to explore, to feel, it's right up there with the best of the best. Every moment feels alive, and you feel like you're part of it: living the life of Henry, a poor blacksmith's son. Hunting, questing, just all of it feels good and cared about by the developers. I've played a lot of games. I've reviewed a lot of games too, but man, it's so rare to find a game that I'm still excited to pick back up after 40+ hours of playtime. Whether you're prowling in the night to lift someone's purse, beating the absolute ♥♥♥♥ out of some drunk who wants to pick a fight, or taking part in duels for honor where you get your ass slapped across the map and back; I have never, for one second of this game, felt bored. I keep bringing up the fighting (although the game is just so much deeper than this) because the combat system is phenomenal. When you pick up your blade and get into a sword fight, it feels like a sword fight. When you get stabbed, it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hurts. When you drive your blade into your enemy, it's so disgustingly rewarding. Blocking, counter-attacks; it's just a solid experience. You make tactical decisions, and are rewarded or punished by them. When you're not fighting, everything else just feels like it fits so well. I will say, auto-saving could have used some work. My biggest frustrations from this game come from forgetting to (or being unable to) manually save, then getting my face rearranged 40 minutes into my play sessions. In fairness, the game does make a point of making you understand, "Life is cheap, buy a save potion," but when you're just engrossed in the world it's easy to forget the urgency. Especially when death can be right around the corner, and unavoidable to begin with. Additionally one other minor annoyance, lock picking is a complete pain in the ass. You know how intuitive it feels in Elder Scrolls? It's like that, but it's going to make you want to throw your controller instead. There's a setting in the menu to manage this a bit, but having the "ideal place" to keep your cursor is unforgivingly brutal, especially early in the game. Despite my petty complaints, KCD is an absolute milestone in gaming. It's rich in lore, rich in game play, and rich in being one of a kind.. well, until KCD2 came out. If you're thinking of picking this up before KCD2: do it. I have no regrets starting with the first game, and fully intend to see it through to the end.
life changing game
bug比这游戏人还多垃圾游戏
I had an awful experience with this, I originally played a few hours on console and the performance was awful, so I thought I would try on PC, luckily I did not buy it, it was part of a bundle or something like that, so there is a small plus, but it played poorly, buggy and I just couldn't get into it.
Trochę bugów i trudny start to część uroku – syn kowala Henry staje się prawdziwym rycerzem, a ty przechodzisz tę drogę razem z nim.
I feel quite hungry, and where my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sword
