Okay I just started the game, but its really fun so far. The visuals are wacky and addictive, the game play is simple enough that I can understand the base concept but hard enough that I feel like I'm being challenged. Absolutely recommend!
Deceptively tricky game, with a simple concept that has been executed extremely well! Dripping with nostalgic arcade vibes, King of Ping Pong is right up my alley!

A highly challenging arcade style game that is addictive and rewarding. This game is all about the mental. You can be up 4-0 and still get reversed sweeped because you freaked out. All my homies hate Takaoka. Mastering the mental is key. You must be one with the ping pong ball. Stare the opponent in the eyes and play with pure instinct. Highly recommend this banger
Haven't played for long but I can say I am really enjoying myself. Big fan of the overall look of this game can tell the developers have gone the extra mile with the arcade theme to it. The simplicity of the controls in this game has made my short time playing super enjoyable will definitely to continue to play this one. I would also like to mention the music to put it lightly it slaps and is honestly very catchy. To summarise would recommend this game to anyone who is looking for a hard challenge but is also just looking for a good time.
King of Ping Pong is a deceptively simple game that is hella fun - you need to not miss the ping pong ball and not tire out before your opponent. It's the type of game you could easily enter flow state while playing, because it requires little focus and lots of focus at the same time. The controls and mechanics are simple but build on top of each other in interesting ways. Much like how in Tetris your block placement will have ramifications on how the level plays out, your success in hitting balls, the direction you chuck them and when you choose to use your super determine an otherwise trivial game. The game is not perfect. The graphics are stylish but a little lacking, and unfortunately there are only 5 characters to play against. The game's UI is also counter-intuitive to the design - as a newer player you want to keep your eyes on the ball to make sure you hit it right, but the UI holds incredibly valuable information like how well you timed your hits, if the enemy punished your hit, and if your super is ready. Having to dart your eyes across the screen doesn't feel like a built-in challenge, it feels like an unfortunate accident. All in all, I like this game. It's short, but its price is worth it and the gameplay is great. I'd recommend this game to people who want to enter flow or want a serious skill challenge, and I'd steer clear if indie scares you or if reaction speed is not your strong suite.
I thought this would be another nice and simple game but it is actually really challenging and fun! Takes a lot of practice and some good strategy to beat it so it's a good game to challenge your reflexes and staying calm in making split second decisions. There's some nice quirky character descriptions too which I really appreciate.
