Utterly disappointed. We were both looking forward to the game, it seemed promising at first but constant issues with multiplier connection and lack of care for the damn game genuinely turned us off to play it even further. Disappointing on how this company came to be after KF1
i played 5 matches and it's just plain bad. i don't feel my guns, they're very plastic and weak (shotguns don't even penetrate that much, and spray is TOO wide to actually make use of it). big zeds are just too aggressive even if you don't rage them, pacing is completely broken because of it. no tactics required to even just play casually, when in previous 2 games you had to have some sort of common sense to survive. here you just tank through zeds and shoot them until they're dead, i don't think there's any efficient takedowns aside from just using more powerful weapon and proper skills. also VERY bad performance, a lot of hitches even on lowest settings with upscaling on (this game looks somehow worse native).
The only game I've genuinely regretted purchasing. Hoping for some kind of 2.0 major update to give it another shot.
I'm not wasting my time writing a review for this when the devs didn't put in the work to make this a worthy entry in the KF series. My short review -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmolVsmKMNE :)
Shader compilation -> Shader compilation -> Shader compilation Dumbed down gameplay, Rng Gachaslop upgrade system & Horrendous optimisation
I thought the all the negative review is exaggerated until i tried this game myself, man wtf are they thinking? This game feels like it was made by people who have never played KF1 and KF2 The movements is clunky and suck azz, the animation reminds me of games from early 2000.
**Not Recommended** Killing Floor 3 is a masterclass in how to squander a beloved franchise. **What you get:** * Endless shader compilation because apparently playing the game is optional. * Crashes that remind you this feels more like a paid beta than a finished product. * Hardware compatibility so bad that whether the game runs seems to be decided by a coin flip instead of your PC specs. * Performance that ranges from mediocre to downright embarrassing, with stuttering, frame drops, and optimization that feels completely absent. * A cast of painfully bland, obnoxious characters that somehow managed to replace the personality and charm of Killing Floor 2 with nonstop cringe. The technical state is unacceptable. It doesn't matter how good the gunplay is if the game can't stay stable or deliver consistent performance. When it isn't compiling shaders or crashing, it's reminding you how lifeless the new cast is. This isn't a worthy successor to Killing Floor 2. It's an overpriced technical disaster wrapped around some of the worst characters the series has ever seen. Wait for deep discounts. Better yet, just reinstall Killing Floor 2.
