One of the best shooters of its kind.

Glad I didn't pay for this. Truly a regression on all fronts except for maybe movement (which is arguable because they took away backwards sprinting). Guns feel terrible, Zeds feel stiff and uninspired, they gave range spit attacks to clots, husks will mortar you from across the map with zero indication that they are doing so, they made healing syringes limited use, made cosmetics only unlockable through a battlepass, and the list just goes on and on. If you liked KF2, just stick with that, this game is a complete waste of your time.

I got about 5 rounds into a game. Thats halfway for a long game in KF. Yeah. Just play KF2 or even KF1. This ain't it. I feel ripped off and I played on a free weekend. That says a lot. The setting is cool IG. The monsters are dope asf. that's the biggest upside. Runs poorly. You get loadouts instead of progressing through. there's like no weapons that are fun and the variety is ♥♥♥♥. Classes are missing and or replaced completely. (Looking at you, ninja class. You are NOT a good replacement for berserk.) I am a longtime fan. I wanted to like this. I don't.

KF1 and KF2 are good wave-survival shooters. I can't say anything about KF3 because I'm stuck at the shader compilation screen. Over 10,000 shaders need to be compiled, the process stalls after about 500 and the game crashes after around five minutes. If my calculations are correct, I would have to restart the game more than 20 times to compile all the shaders, waiting a total of two hours in the process. Never played it and probably never play it.
