Galactic war has ended in the complete annihilation of both sides. Orphans, old folks and animals hitch rides on ghost ships, bound for nowhere. Last night, you and a convoy of strangers boarded a scuttled Dominion warship. Home is far away.

http://www.hardcoregames.biz/kilcount/ the game is simply but rather fun, now it's free to play, expect to take maybe 3 hours to figure it all out easy system requirement too
Lovely little game about talking to some funny aliens.
Great game with multiple endings, funny dialog, and good gameplay. I would probably rate it 4.5 out of 5 stars since you can't walk diagonal which sort of gets annoying after a while and it ends quit abruptly. other that that, i think that this is a great game that should get more attention than it does.

REALLY GOOD GAME IT FEELS LIKE ITS NOT A BIG FETCH QUEST GREAT GAME.
You should play Kilcount! Make some friends, see some things that remind you of home, stretch your legs and your antlers! This is my #1 recommended game to my pals and family. Low commitment, huge pay-off. Have fun! :)
Nice
Super cute, super interesting, and full of silly characters. One of my favourite games of all time. Fun, simple quests. Hopeful ending. All around worth the play if you're into games like this.
What I didn't like:

Repetitive music. It's just a few sounds.
Boring looking dialogue boxes. I just skipped a lot of the dialogue.
No introduction (games don't need introductions but something like this would be better with one)
Grid movement (I have complained about this in a lot of reviews. What software are people using that limits movement to a grid? This means you can't stand in the middle of 2-space wide objects while interacting with them - you have to be at one side, which is weird.
Lack of diagonal movement. I don't know what you are using, but you should be able to add diagonal movement. Diagonal movement makes RPGs like this feel a lot less annoying. If I want to move Pacman, I'll play Pacman. When I play an RPG, I expect to be able to move more freely. Otherwise it's like: "Adventurer! My son is lost in the caves south east of here, please help!" "I'll help you! I'll be as fast as I can" "Yes, please hurry. He's allergic to caves" *An eternity of pressing down, right, down, right later then coming all the way back* "I'm sorry, I wasn't fast enough. Your son has suffocated to death from his cave allergy. If only the developer allowed diagonal movement" It takes so much longer than it would with diagonal movement.
The doors. If you want players to have to press a button to open doors, you should probably make E open doors and then if you want to, other buttons too. You should also have a sound effect and maybe a visual effect. Otherwise having to press a button is just pointless. You can just have it so you can just go up to a door and you automatically go through it. Though if you did that, you should make sure the 'going through door' event only triggers if you press in the direction the door is - in some games it triggers when you touch the space in front of the door which is annoying because you should be able to just walk over that space without triggering the event.
A lot of people have tried to make a humorous RPG like this but I don't enjoy the humour when the game is otherwise boring.
Simple graphics, lack of diagonal movement, but very enjoyable. Nothing happens outside of text-boxes for the most part - not much moves apart from you. Very satisfying to "guess" who wants what object and a nice script.
Good game.
