An absolute joke of of a game that doesn't respect your time at all. The game starts with no story, no motivation, no explanation apart from a very bad"Help" tab that a new player will find hard to care for. I did not play much. All I did was auto battle where the game plays it self and since the only thing you can do early game is right click to attack, there's no reason not to do it, But at that point, why are you playing a game at all, better to save the electricity at that point. After 5+ hours of grind, and buying teh best items in the city I could, I still couldN't progress to area 2, where giant hornets absolutely teared me a new ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I assume that I'd need to "play" the game around 20+ more hours for enough stat upgrades just to progress from the starting area . I'd say don't play this game, but since the whole gyst of the game is: "put auto battle on and walk away from the PC", all of you inadvertedly already played this "game" already .
The game wont even launch. Not sure if that is a blessing or a curse. EDIT: I managed to get it to launch. Turns out you have to put the settings on Auto or it will not work. During the 1st Launch it chooses a setting that doesn't work I guess. So that's nice. Walked around for almost 2 hours doing essentially nothing. The NPCs are spread out pretty far in an empty village/town/city? And most of them don't have a single quest to give. Start talking about lore you know nothing about. Etc. There were thousands of Wolves but I didn't let myself kill a single one because they were just so friendly. Also couldn't find a quest that wanted me to kill any of them. Almost got killed by a Zombie out of no where but ran. My attacks against it were completely worthless and there were thousands of them as well. The only objective I was given was to find a Group of Snowmen Thieves in the Desert by a talking Snowman in the Desert. You can guess how that went. Surprisingly I lucked out and joined a server with either a memelord or lunatic. So laughing at his comments in chat while I aimlessly searched for Snowmen Thieves in a Desert was fun.

Firstly, be aware that the 'time played' that might be indicated on this review is incorrect. My actual time played is 5x-10x more than that. Steam never captures my played time correctly on anything. I pains me to have to make an 'unrecommend' review for this game, but a recommendation is not possible. KPO was one of the first ever MMOs, it was a pioneer that helped to define what the term MMORPG means to us, and invented many of the methods used by nearly all MMOs since then. In it's natural configuration, KPO remains one of the few best MMOs ever, but Blaze is where this giant dies its final death. After the original official servers were taken down, there have been numerous pirate servers to continue the adventure for the game's dedicated fans. I was lucky enough to play on several of them over the years. Some were great, some were terrible. Blaze is the only server left, as far as I know, and it is perhaps the worst of them all. KPO on the Blaze server is ultra hyper-inflated botter-friendly cheesey-cheese. Instead of taking measures to fix the design flaws that killed the game, they have dived head-first into demolishing what little good remained around them. All semblance of balance has been wholly abandoned. Primary features that are meant to be basic to the gameplay are made totally useless. Even half the character classes have become buggy cheesey garbage that may as well just get removed at this point. There are so many new problems caused by this server's configuration that it would take a book to make any meaningful note of them. I dream of KPO getting fixed up properly, restored to the exhilarating gameplay experience it was originally capable of delivering, and reminding the world of what an excellent MMO can be like, but this server is like a shredded, crumpled, and torched remnant that only vaguely resembles the proper game if you squint at it. This is a fond memory from my teenage years tossed into a sewer and ground into the muck under Blaze's heel. If you wanted to experience KPO in its ideal form, you're too late. That is gone forever and only this cold wreckage remains.

Fain.
This is highly unacommodated to newer standards. - Run in unresizable window - Cannot create account from game - While on website, registration is bad, as it does not say requirements for passwords, PINs, etc. and it will just simply clear form - Game itself is very poorly looking and explanation is clicking through interface...
