I actually really enjoyed the game but I can't really recommend it for new players that aren't coming in a large group or are just going to multibox the game (And have your exp/gold/drop rates lowered some unknown amount on top of other changes) The exp gain rates are fairly abysmal even after some level of buffs by the developer, and while the seraph/rebirth mechanic is neat, the vast majority of the players I saw online in the few days following steam launch have dwindled down to the highest amount of players I've seen counting both non-legacy servers I've seen in a few days was 12 total (iirc specifically 5 US/PVE and 7 EU/PVP players, including myself) The quest and adventure quests were neat (Mostly) but between the near total lack of information about the game outside of game, pretty much all of my in game time that wasn't maybe 12 hours total wasn't spent grinding exp alone in a random area I determined pseudo-suitable, and a good chunk of that was done after my build was determined to be useless due to frequent half-assed arguments and deliberate misleading in the chat about several spells and skills and, once again, no information out of game to explain anything There is some in-game information but very little of the bits that are important are actually accurate nor helpful

A list of items and where you can get them (sometimes, a good chunk say something along the lines of "quests", a lot of the useful gear is usually 1/1000 droprates or 1/30 to 1/300 for various hour long respawn bosses)
A list of spells and the map numbers for where to purchase them (The map's a whole other nightmare which is basically just a grid with some mild info per box, from what I could gleam, one of the mid 40s spells can only be found in a pseudo random spot or in the town that requires level 50 to even get to)
A list of monsters and (some) of the items they drop. A few monsters drop items that aren't in the item list and supposedly there's some global drop rate for some items that's just not listed anywhere I could find
A "Game Info" tab with a lot of random info, but pretty much the only useful bits explains the damage math for various abilities (Which on testing doesn't seem accurate to begin with)
I want to keep playing but at this point every new player I've seen for days has not logged in a second time once they, within a few hours, hit the point where all they can do is grind exp in one spot just to get access to where another quest needs to go. A few petered off but most just quit on the spot after grinding to level 20 to get access to the second island only to within an hour learn they now need to spend hours grinding to 30 in functionally the exact same place they just spent a while grinding to 20 to keep doing quests I've had this conversation in game a few times but a decent portion of the game feels like it was written by an ideas guy who doesn't play their own game and what could only realistically be described as a barely English speaking tech support doing the coding (I mean hell, there are frequent enemies past the first zone that are 2x2 blocks but if they're near each other you can only damage one with an aoe spell because they can stand inside each other, and from that I saw, the suggestions and the bug reporting areas of the discord server are very rarely bothered with unless it's something that affects gold or exp gain, and it took one player spamming slurs for hours for there to be any sort of moderation at all)

Playing on release with friends and I am having a blast. Highly recommend this game.
Key To Heaven really reminds me of the classic indie 2D RPG games we used to play back in the day. It has plenty of things to do and figure out, but not over-whelming like a lot of modern MMOs. This game has everything you'd want, and doesn't require a mega PC to run.

"Key To Heaven" is a "free"ish 2D retro pixel "MMORPG" trying to cash in on the success of retro MMO gaming like Runescape... although in fairness the cash shop here isn't as predatory as others, and you can host your own server, which ameliorates a lot of the otherwise awful aspects that games infested with cash shops usually have. Of course, the cash shop here being mostly non-toxic doesn't mean this is a quality PC game. This features really godawful, lazy pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. The welcome depth to the RPG system, explorative nature of the game and so on is totally wasted with such a weak technical presentation. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
An awesome rpg with tons of things to see and do.
