I had go back through the chapel because I died. However, after the little flashback scene, the interact spot for the candle puzzle was just not there. I tried starting over using the 'new game' option in main menu, but whole game seemed to be bugged out after that.
Keep the Lights On is a pretty good horror adventure game, now this is one of those games were talking about the story to much will spoil it, so I'll just say. On a cold dark rainy night detective Edmund Rosental is hired to investigate the mysterious going on in an old abandoned Chapel. Alright then the likes, the story is pretty good with themes of depression and loss that are used and talked about very well, made even better with notes. The gameplay is okay, it's a bit like a more simplified version of Resident Evil were you're stuck in this big place where you have to fight monsters and solve puzzles. The pixel graphics are very good with a good use of color and scenery and some very nice details, especially when it came to the church. The levels in the game was good, mostly takes place at this church, but the church is not massive so it’s pretty easy to navigate so you won't be running around wondering where you’re going. The enemies/monsters are very good each one had a nice design, but I think the best monster was the final boss it had a nice bloodborne sort of feel and look to it. The puzzles were okay some of them were good brain teasers, but some were the kind you have to brute force your way through, but it was not bad. The atmosphere was good definitely pretty spooky at times, the music was pretty good definitely fits the game very well. The notes are good, as you know I like notes, they can be essential for a game to help build the story and especially in horror games because notes can help with the atmosphere and the scares. I also like that the game was free. Now is the game scary will a little bit when you first play it, it can be a little bit spooky. Alright then the dislikes, there are some bugs, like there is this one game breaking bug where if you decide to restart the game again certain items from the previous game like the music box will still be in your inventory even though you're playing a new game, or certain objects won't open. It's easily fixed by having to delete all your game’s files and reinstall the game. Now with that all said Keep the Lights On is a pretty good horror adventure game, pretty good story, very good pixel graphics and very good enemies/monsters. So I do recommend this game, especially since this game is free and honestly I hope to see more games done by this team someday soon.

this game was fantastic. i enjoyed every single second in this game.

A nice, short little game, a bit clunky, but you get what you (dont) pay for. ... *drank
still waiting for a new game from this devloper
I enjoyed the game. The platforming was a bit frustrating but it was a good experience.
For a free to play game, it was really good! It had it's spooky moments, the puzzles were challenging but not impossible, and a very good plot. I also liked the old school graphics. A job well done by the dev team! Rating: 8/10
