Katawa Shoujo is a romantic visual novel set in the fictional Japanese Yamaku High School for disabled children. Hisao's congenital heart defect forces him to move to a new school. Despite his difficulties, Hisao is able to find friends—and perhaps love, if he plays his cards right.

Great F2P visual novel. Hanako is the best.

Да
как по мне иногда игра кажется незаконченной и в некоторых моментах есть вопросы. а так всё идеально и вайбово.
I've only completed a single character route at the time of writing this review, and I have every intention of playing through the rest, but I can already tell this would make an excellent first visual novel (VN) for people curious about the genre that aren't sure where to start. The writing, art, music, and overall presentation are well done and appealing. The barrier to entry is virtually nonexistent, since it is a completely free-to-play game. It offers tremendous value, to say the least. The story takes a fairly genuine look at the lives of those with various physical disabilities, the challenges they overcome, and it showcases the struggles the main character faces in accepting a new way of life after sudden dramatic changes. I won't spoil it beyond that, because visual novels are all about their stories, and they are best when experienced for oneself. But, I think there's at least a little something here that almost anyone can relate to, regardless of their background or preferences, which is another reason why I would recommend it to new players looking for their first VN. And the high quality throughout would make it an easy recommendation for experienced VN enthusiasts too. Give it a try, see for yourself.
This is truly one of the hidden gems of visual novel games. It may be free, but the memories made from this game is priceless. I had so much ups and downs playing this game. I cried a lot, smiled a lot. Made me appreciate life a little bit more.
