Workers of the world, unite! You have nothing to loose, but, like, less than two dollars. - Karl Marx... would probably say about this challenging platformer. Play as the great thinker, overcome capitalism and return the world to the one righteous state of universal, common, great and equal poverty.

RAGE QUIT! Why would the developer put spikes on the roof and the floor in a shallow space for an extended time? I was having fun, and this dynamic just ruined the whole experience. Levels 1 and 2 were actually fun. It was worth it and I was ready to give a positive review. If you touch a spike even slightly on the third level, you die. What is even the purpose of doing that? It's not fun, and actually frustrating.
I thought this would be more of a gag game but it's actually pretty solid. Somewhere around easy-medium difficulty imo

Rarely do I give a 2$ game a review, but the top reviews are made by literal communists who are but hurt that this game is making fun of both Marx, capitalism, and it's self. This includes its most "helpful" review, who is a "Labor Historian" which means in normal speak, a communist who warps history to his ideology. Most of these people haven't even finished the game, or even surpassed the first 4 or so levels. Firstly, this game has one single track per level. They are decent, but get repetitive quickly. Looping endlessly, so best lower and mute the music after hearing the first couple loops in each level. The UI is manageable, but clunky, missing things like a options button during pause while in game. This game, despite being in many ways a Mario clone, does have some hard sections to it, but its a mostly easy game. The sprites are simple but distinct enough to discern between whats shooting at you. The retro style is good, honestly the music bogs it down but if you like retro stuff you will enjoy this game The story is goofy and overall makes fun of the modern and historically hated individuals. Showing a disdain for both extreme capitalism and communism. The writing might not be funny mostly, but its enjoyable, assuming you aren't a communist or capitalist fanatic. Level 6 in particular have some great jokes in my opinion, and its a shame they couldn't have more hilarious moments that level 6 incorporated. Overall, for a 2$ this a a solid 7/10, and is certainly worth grabbing on sale (which all have been a 50% off).
yes marxism is extremely detailed, refined, and well researched, but did you know you would be poor? that is 90% of this game's philosophy in a single statement and it's sad, it doesn't even make an attempt to challenge marxism, let alone marx himself, and absolutely falls flat in comparison. you don't feel challenged, you just feel pandered to. its not even well developed either, its extremely easy to die and kill an enemy simultaneously, control the menu screen and gameplay simultaneously, and die to random enemies from afar whose projectiles don't have a finite range, so it's quite unfair in some places. don't bother, save your $0.50 for another much more fun indie platformer
this game is making fun of communism. İts made by a lib.
Es el juego más realista que he probado en los últimos 20 años
Old Review: I will not recommend this game Pros: Concept is great Cons: Really Poor Level design, Jokes get old really quick, and Terrible Checkpoint placement. More in depth: I bought this game when it was on sale for ~$1.50 because it looked stupid and really fun. I've had a ton of friends back in highschool who would make their own joke games. However, This game tries too hard to be a challenge and makes it a slog. Places where you often die are far away from checkpoints meaning if you want to get back you usually have to spend a minute to get back to the location where in all likelihood you'll just die again. This isn't a problem in the beginning of the game but it gets progressively worse and worse as you continue. Another point that I really struggled with is that you cannot truly pause the game. It runs in the background which would not be a problem except for bossfights. If you try to quit a bossfight and they kill you while you are in the menu it closes the menu and forces you back into the bossfight. Different problem. Some jumps you have to make later on come down to a hairline precision in your timing of multiple abilities. This wouldn't be a problem if the game tried to be any form of forgiving. The worst part about this is it isn't even consistent. A level will start off being the hardest in the game. You'll hit a checkpoint and then it will be easy for two minutes until one ludicrously long obstacle kills you and forces you back to the checkpoint again. (Then you loop for 15 minutes). I do not believe this game was made to be a Rage game. I believe it was made as a joke. But after 10 minutes you stop laughing and put it away. Lastly, The game should be free because COMMUNISM!!! *Soviet Anthem Plays* Amended Review: After a visit to the local Corrections facility. I find myself now convinced to Apologize to all those who read my previous Review. Karl Marx and the Ring of Communism is a Masterpiece.
