A fairly airtight sandbox wave shooter. The basic wave blasting loop is solid with good physics and the guns feel good to use. I was amazed at how large the map actually is and with all the hidden posters and collectables around exploring didnt feel tedious in between running for my life from the enemies. There is a lot to do while also not much to do, such is the curse of sandbox style games. There is a patch to spice up the game, but it only really adds to the gooning experience. Unfortunately while the gunplay is solid the movement is uniquely ♥♥♥♥♥ to deal with. It feels like reloading your jump if you need to jump more than once at a time. I quite like the game as a whole even though it does have an incomplete feel. I am looking forward to the next game from the dev and hope to see them build up even further from this one.
