I got this game for my birthday. I really like it but it is a difficult game if you don't know the controls.
ITS AWESOME

Really good. Best one yet. The building system was a little bit of a let down. I thought it would be a bit more modular, rather than being such tiny pieces and literally thousands of them, way too much effort for me. It's great that you can download stuff made by other people in the game though. But when you see even some fairly normal buildings that still use hundreds of parts, just shows how much effort would be required. I just don't have any desire to spend hours just making one building that you will basically never get to enjoy properly without zooming in right on it. That does NOT let the game down at all and isn't a negative thing, it's just not for me. Everything else is amazing. Getting multiple animals in one pen seems way tougher though, pens need to be huge and their needs are much higher too, but does encourage you to build much bigger pens and not have dozens of them which is a lot easier to manage in the long run. They seem to have done some major optimising as well. The previous games ran great but you did start losing a lot of frames in huge parks. I set games to a 60 FPS limit.... Why? Because I'm not one of these idiots who cries about terrible performance because they don't ger 500 FPS and moan about what is a perfectly fine rate. In an empty park, just the landscape I get 60 frames, in the biggest park I have built so far, I get 60 frames. In a game like this you could easily afford a drop to 30+ with no impact on the gameplay, providing it was steady. So far though, not lost a single frame.
