yes!
It is the most poorly marketed game. I do not know how I and my friends got into it, but it is worth your money and time, but it suffers somewhat from exploiting the device’s resources to get the best performance. We hope to improve this aspect in the near future. It is possible that it is due to the Early Access Game. I do not know.
still in EA, very solid, and still getting worked on !
..........picking up more than 4 items created a "backpack;" removing your ability to use weaps....in a combat game.
TLDR: One thing comes to mind immediately. If Cowboy Bebop were in video game form, this is pretty close to what I would imagine it being like. "See You, Space Cowboy..." \(^_^)/ Excellent sandbox, open-space looter-shooter! \($_$)/ Full review below: I initially played this back in mid-2025 when it first launched in Early Access. Since then, the game has really been cooking in the oven. The developers have been incredibly active—constantly adding content, updating systems, and patching bugs. Looking back over a nine-month gap, they’ve made massive leaps toward knocking out their entire roadmap. There is an incredible depth to this game that similar titles just don't offer, yet it manages never to overwhelm you because the mechanics and unlocks are perfectly spaced out across the first handful of missions. Truly an exceptional game! The only thing I would love to see added is the option to deploy additional Astrobots when playing solo—especially if matchmaking is down or friends are unavailable. Honestly, if you merged *X4: Foundations* with this game, my life would be complete. I can absolutely see myself still playing this 15 to 20 years from now once it's fully released. So far, I've only played solo with the single Astrobot assistant, which does a fantastic job helping you maintain your ship, manage tasks, sell loot, and fight alongside you in ground and space battles. However, my understanding is that the drop-in/drop-out online matchmaking and co-op with friends is where the game kicks into absolute, wonderful insanity. I’m actually gifting this game to two of my friends in the hopes that we can all get lost in it together. It hits a massive nostalgia sweet spot. I can already tell it's going to capture that feeling that's been missing for so long—the magic of those all-night gaming sessions in living rooms or basements, laughing and repeating the good times for years. It brings back that exact feeling we had as kids and teens: talking trash on Xbox Live, unleashing custom creations on each other in *WrestleMania* on the PS2 and N64, or grinding *Super Smash Bros. Melee* with the bots cranked to level 9. Those were games we poured hundreds of hours into, endlessly laughing and wishing the day would never end. This game has that exact same spark. That's all from me. See You, Space Cowboy...
A great game with a new way of rougelike gameplay, but you still feel it is in early-access
This is a really fun game, especially if you have some friends to play it with. I have two others I play with and we've been having a blast playing it like we're an actual crew, I get to be the pilot, another is the engineer/repairman and the last gets to be the gunner. The new combat changes in the latest update are for sure tough, we felt like we were sometimes getting shredded apart with barely any time to react, and while that can be a little frustrating, it feels satisfying when you finally push through one of the very hard missions by the skin of your teeth. In one of the cargo retrieval missions we did, I had to hide the ship and evade enemies because it was so low on health while my crew were taking hordes of tough enemies in order to get the goods. They managed to nab the last bit of cargo we needed and though we were getting blasted, we managed to jump away with just the tiniest sliver of health remaining (I think I heard the ship blow up during the transition to the victory screen but we still got the rewards lol). Definitely a hearty recommend if you have others to join you. I think the devs are onto something really special here!
Awesome, fun solo and fun with the homies. The exact level of sim I actually want. You may have to leave your battle station to put out a fire, or refill ship ammo. But you do this through simple command-at-site interactions, like running to the assembler to make more ammo, or firing the hull repair gun at the specific localized damage point you need to repair your hull. It doesn't belabor the simulation aspect, so you can actually have genuine, all around fun doing space ship stuff without full simulation-level depth. The game doesn't fight you on anything, rarely do you have to stop and look something up. I love Elite Dangerous, but not playing the game for 6 months can net you two full unsatisfying game sessions crammed with button remappings, youtube videos and a million google searches before you can remember how to play the game enough to actually sit down and play it. Jump Space scratches my co-op itch, my space sim (lite) itch, my goofy loot n shoot itch, and my exploration itch. Why am I so itchy? I don't know, maybe I should see a dermatologist...
space sea of thieves, randoms have been great so far
It just isn't fun. Everything feels very clunky from controls to how things progress. It doesn't feel like a game, it feels like a chore, wish I would have refunded because it isn't a good game. I could recommend if the bones were at least decent with a good concept but this game isn't going anywhere. The only good thing was I got it on sale so didn't waste as much money.
