fun killing robot game with upgrades. needs more upgrades for the entire ship.
i want to like this game so badly, but its just not playable for me. not having the option to quit and continue a run means i barely get to play it at all. and when i do have time to sit down for an hour or two in solo, im just fighting buddy for recources. not having more control over what he does and doesnt do has cost me two runs by now, and killed any initial enjoyment i had in the first few hours with friends.
How the game feels to play for the first time
First of all, this game is such a breath of fresh air. I didn't feel like this since titanfall 2 campaign, and I am so happy with the game.
The logical part
The game clearly has issues, minor bugs, and is in early access. However, the game feels like a "sort of" full experience! I can clearly see some things that are being polished, require a little more effort, but overall I am enjoying the story, flow, fighting, managing the ship and points of interest so much. The game feels great in 2 players, it is wonderful to play like that and I can enjoy it to the fullest, the fact I see it is not complete, doesn't mean it's a bad experience, it's great! Fast paced missions, issues, fires, radiation, boarding etc. make the game feel so good to play as success is truly earned. And then you get to jump and spend a few minutes sorting all the loot, fixing the ship etc. before jumping into a different type of a mission again. From more details, in 1080p, max settings, I get 190 fps. 2.5 times more than in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ minecraft with shaders. You can see my attached PC specs, and be wary that I always have 16gb of RAM used as I don't ever turn off unity due to me working basically constantly on other projects. 7/10, but when it gets to full release, I can likely rate it even higher.
gud
love this game, it's my fav game now. please fix bugs.
Liking it so far, looking forward to seeing where things go as the game works through early access. The gameplay is fun, the progression keeps it interesting, and the developers has shown they're willing to listen to the playerbase when things don't quite work, which is always a huge plus.
