John's Wizard Dungeon is a free VR Escape the Room game. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. In the lobby, If you press the top touchpad while pointing at Play, How to Play or Credits, it brings up a poster to the left or right of main menu. 2 of the 3 items you need to escape is easy to find. Need a key to for the third item. You have five minutes to escape. You might have to play a few times to figure out how to get the key. Try it, if you like Escape the Room games.

Bu süre zarfında İksiri tutan kapının şifresini bulmanız gerekecek. John'un odasına dağılmış üç gizli mücevheri bulun ve kodu ortaya çıkarmak için bunları podyuma yerleştirin!

"John's Wizard Dungeon" is a simple VR tech demo, I'm not sure if this is a student project or something. It's got all the same qualities... not a fully fleshed out game, bare minimum viable product. It doesn't look great and it's got less under the hood than the visuals. What do you do in the game? It's a simple escape room, wave your arms around in VR to solve a variety of minipuzzles within the time limit. It takes longer to plug in your headset and put it on than it takes to actually play this mess. The game is quite short, and can be run through in just less than 5 minutes. The lack of content here makes it hard to suggest it's worth spending the time to add to your library and download. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it's possible. Yes, obviously it's possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that's less than a little blip on the radar isn't offering anything truly valuable to gamers. I'm not sure if this is an asset flip, but it's one of those cases where the assets just look much better than the rest of the quality of the game... a glaring inconsistency. There's no evidence, but as always, the biggest problem with asset flips besides the plagiarism is the deplorably low quality of the other aspects of the game, and even if the game assets are genuinely created for the game, the quality of the rest of the game is indistinguishable from that of asset flips. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool. This game is fairly dated at 6 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. On pricing, this is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 2 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. There's no financial cost up-front, but you'd still be spending your time and a little hard drive space on a product that's far from the best. There's thousands of better alternatives on Steam.

A throwback to 2016 VR. Supremely simple escape room that, for me at least, had some serious performance/comfort jitter problem. I want to stress how simple it is, when stating that it is not really worth the time to download or play, even if you weren't to experience the same jitter. You are in a room, you have to find three gems with symbols which are the code to the door. Two are just in the room under random physics clutter, one is locked in a birdcage which you have to find the key for.
